2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
03.11.2014. 0,5l Can. Clear golden colour with white head. Ligth grassy aromas. Fresh but there isnt to much taste. Body is rather thin and there isnt too much hops either. Leaves a soft bitter finish where the carbonation is the flavour that is strongest. Not good, not poor, just boring.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Cheap standard lager made for Lidl; apparently with an ABV of 4,9% in the Belgian Lidl supermarkets. Stable, sticky, snow white head, colour pale golden blonde with quiet sparkling, cristal clear. Malt sweetness in the nose, grainy, bread, minerals, iron and grassy hops. Very neutral onset with relatively sharp carbonation (only initially), grainy, vague sweet pale malts, thin texture, mild peppery hops in the finish, insufficient to balance out the sweetishness, restrained as it is. Totally bland.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Stubby bottle from Lidl. Appearance: straw yellow. Aroma: grass and corn and wood. Flavour: grass and hay, a little lemon. This is my go to yard work beer. 10 bottles for €5, keep it ice cold and it’s a no brainer refreshing beer.

Crystal clear body with thin quickly dissolving head. Mild taste with total lack of hop aromas. You can taste a little maltiness in the end. Carbonation is medium. Very poor beer.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a foamy white head. No aroma to speak of. Taste of hops, malt, grass and soap. Cryisp with a dry finish. Boring but okay.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Can from Lidl in Sønderborg. Pours clear pale golden with airy, quickly disappearing white head. Faint aroma of yeast and hops. Faint, bitter, sourish flavour of hops and yeast. Paperlike finish. This liquid does not taste or smell of much. What is the point of calling it beer, even less of drinking it?

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can from Lidl at the Brussels end of Antwerpen Centraal, consumed on the train leaving Rotterdam en route to Borefts ’13, 27/09/13.
Couldn’t be arsed dirtying my glass for this one so straight from the can, however I did ensure some rimming action in order to ascertain the colouration ... surprise surprise pale blonde with (using imagination and experience) a frothy white head!
Nose is pale malts, grass, cereals, corn.
Taste comprises corn, pale malts, popcorn, light caramel.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, grassy bitterness in the finish.
As a cheap supermarket can not too bad tbh!
Longish rating for a 2.2 canned affair due to the tedious train journey between Rotterdam and Woerden.
