COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Golden State Lager: Truly Evans’ American Premium Lager. This beer was brewed with all Californian grown pilsner malt and all American grown Liberty hops. The recipe and brewing was executed by Evan Price and Evan Weinberg, two Southern California based brewers in a local brewery (Noble) for locals. This is a direct response to the contract brew “Evan’s Premium Lager” that is brewing in Mexico on contract and is entirely marketing based business.

Bottle... Hazy light-yellow lager with a small, creamy, white head. The nose is citrusy, grainy and peppery. Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. The nicely balanced flavor consists mainly of pale grains and lemony, spicy hops. Short, crisp, bittersweet finish. Bottle courtesy of JoeTheYounger!

Bomber. Whitish head quickly dissolves to spotty thin covering with fast lacing over a hazy light lager body. Aroma is noble’s "Liberty" hops and allspice and clove. Seriously spicy. Flavor is quite soda pop sweet. Fuzzy finish of long sweet with slight bitter. Spicily crafted lager. Commendable but I’ll pass.

A quality "light" beer from two of my favorite OC brewers. A simple and well done lager with a touch of sweetness and effervescence.
