4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured up on tap at GABF 2012 with a crystal clear looking gold body supporting an off white head. The aroma offers up a big inviting mix of aromatics that include mango tropical fruit and malt sweetened grapefruit like citrus. Nice. The taste is pleasing with a firm level of grapefruit hop bitterness and what seems like a dash of malt sweetened mango tropical fruitiness here and there as well. There is a hop resin bitterness that helps dry this out a tad into the finish. This is a delicious robust IPA.

Bomber courtesy of BMan1113VR (thanks Andrew!) poured a clear tarnished gold with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, dank bud, earthiness, pine and light tangerine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, pine and grapefruit zest with a smooth dry moderatly bitter lingering earthy finish.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours translucent amber with a slight white head. Strong citrus, nee cat pee, aroma. Med body. Flavor is very, very citrus, with something else thatís very fresh hop, and the caramel backbone is very, very back. This is arguably a hop monster. Finishing quite hoppy and bitter. Excellent.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
13 apr 2013, tap at Noble Ale Works. Gold. Nose is huge orange peel, lightly toasted malt, moderate alcohol. Med body and fizzy. Grapefruit/orange rind. Not quite as thin and bitter as most west coast IPAs. Bit more body, slightly less bitter. Still, big, prominent resinous hops.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This one poured a bright light orange color with an off white head. Aroma was of fruity hops, mainly mangos and oranges, with light grain notes too. Flavor was similar, orangey and lightly tropical, with a nice pale light grain finish. Nice IPA.
