3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours with a crystal clear orange hued body with a very small and fading white head that fades to a ring and leaves low lace. Thankfully the appearance is probably the weakest aspect of this beer. Aromas show a massive hop bouquet, herbal, tangerine, spicy citrus, baked apple, low malt. Very nice indeed! Flavors show a medium to medium light bitterness, but lots of hop character: floral, tangerine, zesty citrus, lightly faded melon, very light malt, low esters. Obviously very fresh hop wise, but there is a very light oxidative character already showing in the bottle. It is only very slight and out of place (possibly a bottling issue). Lower carbonation, medium bodied and dry. Surprisingly good!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: SEP 25, 2013 A solid APA. Stronger flavor than the aroma would lead you to believe. Has nice hop character and drinks easily at 5.0%. You could easily session a few of these on a sunny day. This is becoming a regular buy for me, and if you like IPAs but are looking for something just a bit lighter you should give it a try.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a light copper color with a dirty melon aroma. Taste is of grapefruit mixed with hops. A slight bitter aftertaste with a hint of green tea after the swallow. A good pale ale that had some complexities to it.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle:   Dirty straw, orange hued, fine sediment abounds, soft white frothy head, spotty lacing.   Pale hop nose, a little citrusy.   Soft citrus peel and pith on the tongue, slight earthy malt profile.   Make
that soily.   Reminds me of the old days with organic malts, how earthy and soily they were.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Quick finish, and soft.   Not a bruiser, middle of the road, but could use a little less
soil/earth in my book.   Otherwise decent.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
650 ml bottle. Pours a hazy copper-orange color with a medium white head that soon recedes away. The aroma featured weeds, chlorophyll and some light citrus. The taste: more weeds, and what seemed nice to the nose was not so nice to the tongue. Also present in the flavor there was lemon, grapefruit and grass set in a light caramel malt base. The palate was on the lighter side but appropriate for the style and the carbonation was lively. Finished long and semi-sweet. Overall: A decent APA, I really liked the nose, but the taste was a touch experimental.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap at the brewery tasting room. Thick white foam atop cloudy orange. Nose is slight curry and body odor. Strange. Warms up to potpourri orange. Then it is more of a funky melon. So strange. Taste is tangy lemon tea, brown tea, ultimately comes across as bland. Soapy on palate.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 3/20
A light pale ale. Not something I would buy again unless someone else bought it for me.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber from brewery. Clear golden pour, good head retension. Light floral-hoppy aroma on the nose. Light body, hoppy with little malt or sweetness, but not too bitter.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Maybe the best pale ale I have ever had?!? Damn this thing hits all the right marks! The best citrus and malty characteristics are embodied in this ale. Not bad for a first try from Noble Ale Works via craftbeerconnect.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from South Bay Liquor: Appeared as a dense golden liquid that seemed to have either extremely fine bits of sediment or a slight chill haze happening while a soapy topping of head burst over the top. Aroma is bold with an instant olfaction of green oily hops that make this smell similar to a high quality IPA instead of just pale ale recipe. Drink is heavy as if it was actually an IPA and is clearly dominated by citrus fruit like hops that also suggest pinches of pine. Impressing pale ale and I appreciate the price of only being $5 for a pint.
