COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our English Pub ale is full bodied, amber in color and boasts a dry, malty character from the use of English grown barley. The nose is reminiscent of freshly baked biscuits and orange jam, while the taste hits with flavors of bread crust and toasted almonds. We finish this session offering on nitro, or, as the Brits would say, “extra smooth” to create a similar drinking experience to the cask ales in the English pubs.

On tap at Noble. It pours a dark golden orange color with an off white head. The aroma is herbal with some hoppy mild spice and caramel. The flavor has mild herbals, a little coffee and good herbal bitterness with more caramel in the finish. Pretty nice.

The first beer in a four beer paddle at the Back Bay Tavern inside Wholefoods, Newport Beach on 13th March 2014. Fizzy amber body with a creamy head that gave off some good lacing. I thought this was a very good US version of a UK Keg beer, a pleasant blend of flavours and easy to drink, well done you guys. Fairly smooth and with enough about it to ’ sit back and think of England’, nicely balanced with nothing aggressive or contrived, just a fine brew.

On nitro at the brewery. Pours a medium dark golden color, with reverse cascading head. Caramel, toffee, creamy nitro, bread, and light earthiness. A nicely drinkable beer.

Draft at the taproom. Cheers to the CA crew for this one. Pours hazy amber with a white cream head. The nose has hints of chalky cocoa. Nice flavor, some bread, light dry cocoa, faint ripe citrus fruits. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Balanced finish with notes of toasted malts and ripe citrus. Decent.

Poured on tap at Noble it has a golden yellow color in the glass with a medium head. The aroma is mild but has some pie crust with mild fruit. Taste is smooth and balanced with a mild bitterness and butterscotch.

Tap at Noble thanks to my crew. Clear orange pour, good webby lace. Nose is dense caramel, salted toffee. Taste is tangy, a bit watery. Apple mealy palate.

UPDATED: AUG 7, 2014 Pours a clear copper amber color. Thick head due to Nitro. Aroma is earthy hops ice tea and malts and slight citrus note. Taste follows the Aroma well. More of a earthy herbal type beer not citrucy or tropical fruit tasting. Not my favorite but its different and very well made.

Very nice head and incredible noble aroma. Slightly thin on tongue but not surprising at abv. Nice lasting nitro head. Nice lacing. Excellent session ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
