COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American-style Strong Bitter, medium in body, deep copper in color, exudes a hop character of peaches and thyme, then hits with a clean ride of toast and caramel. The finish, as the name suggests, lends some pleasant bitterness that holds it all in place.

"Pretty good descriptors up above, though I got no thyme in the brew. Light tropical fruit, ample bitterness, earthy hops, toasty malts all in a darker and slightly stronger tan usual for the style brew."

This one poured a lighter red color with a beige head. Aroma was of biscuts, caramel, and grassy hops. Falvor was similar, well balanced, light alcohol, but a bit boring.

Bottle:   Dirty caramel in color, small sudsy off-white head, sparce lacing.   Soft sweet malty nose, not a lot of biscuit or breadiness, everything seems subtle.   Somewhat of a stale hop start, musty citrus peel, with really no biscuit or breadiness.   Seems like a weak Amber Ale to me.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Slight caramel on the backside, with a touch of tea leaves.   Doesnt start like an ESB, but sorta finishes like one.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Tiz okay, but not as sharp or vibrant as others, and perhaps a bit more citrusy.

Tap at Noble. Clear, deep amber pour with weak foam. Nose is not great, lemon juice, small bread. Taste is lemon tea and astringent dry malt. Dry and dusty finish. Eh.

Pours a copper color with a peach fruit and clean water aroma. Taste is creamy with a peach and caramel taste. The aftertaste is mellow with a quickly dissipating bitterness. Overall a decent ESB.

Draft at the source. Cloudy dark amber color, off white head, solid lacing. Aroma of peppery hay. Taste is similar. Nice.

Deep golden ale with a great sustaining head. Low malt aroma. Lots of bready character finishes with a medium malt character.

13 apr 2013, tap at Noble Ale Works. Light copper, clear, no bubbles. Nose is resin hops and lightly toasted malt. Thin body and mildly fizzy. Pine hops and copper malt. A little less fizzy and this would be a perfect ESB. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft @ the brewery. Pours a pale amber color with a small whitehead. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with hoppy hints. Fruity malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with hints of hops.
