COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brown Ale is traditionally brewed in England, Belgium & the USA so this brown ale combines raw materials from all three countries! The malt is from England, yeast from Belgium & the hops from Yakima in the USA. Full bodied with the ester nose of a Belgium saison. A great beer for the beginning of fall.

On tap at Noble Pig, pours a dark amber brown with a small tan head. Aroma is quite robust for a brown ale, with toasted coffee beans and some roasted malt. Flavour isn’t as robust, but still pleasant, with muted dark fruits, toasted malt and dry toffee. Dry finish, with no residual sugars. Very solid brown ale.

Sampled at the Great Canadian Beer Festival. Nice smokey roast and chocolate with a grainy, nutty quality. Big flavour, medium-bodied, well-hopped, solid alcohol burn and mild yet lingering bitter finish.

Pint on tap at the brewhouse pours a reddish brown color with a finger of white head which settles quickly leaving some spotted thin lacing behind. Aroma is caramel and light roasted grains. Taste is caramel malty sweet with a roasted grain and light citrusy hop bitterness in the finish. Overall, this is quite a tasty brown ale and deserves a sampling when in Kelowna for the fall season.

Tap@Noble Pig brewhouse, Kamloops, Canada. Reddish brown beer with a reasonable head. The aroma is roasted with some malty toffee'ness, and the flavour is malty with a wheaty yeastiness and some roasted bitterness - a strange combination that works. Overall a nice well flavoured, fairly complex roasted and malty beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
