3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at the Watering Hole. This version was dry hopped with Citra and Sorachi Ace. Golden colour, slightly opaque. Not much head at all. Aroma is citrus and some sorachi weirdness. Slightly spicy too, but a strong hoppy spiciness rather than malty one. Taste is more citrus than sorachi but there is a hint of strangeness in there. Slightly musty, some herbal elements. Nice. Slight liveliness in the mouth, not spritzy, but slightly lively. Bit of cream coming through further down. Still nice funkiness though.
Pretty nice pale ale.

On tap in Beer Cafe Hopman in Chigasaki. This is a pale ale with Cascade and Citra hops. Clear amber orange, with a thin white head. Nose is beautiful tropical aromas. Papaya, mango, passion fruit. Taste is bitter citrous kick of grapefruit and lemon with the tropical fruit notes coming through moments later as it warms on the tongue. Body is clear and medium to light, but oily. Very very nice.
