A lager type beer with a full body and a rich dark hue.

Bottle says this is a bock. Too thin for it. A little grainy (DMS). Some malty aroma, a bit of burnt sugar/dark crystal. Decent bitterness backing up the malt. Some metallic taste. Definitely lacks the malt aroma and thickness of a bock, but it’s an OK beer.

0.355l bottle. Clear brownish amber body, almost no head. Neither the aroma nor the taste are so powerful but both of them are OK. Both have notes of grain, caramel and toast. Quite sweet with light medium body. Not bad, but I’ve had better christmas beers.

the color and alcohol suggests its a bock, just like label claims, although the taste is more a normal macro dark lager; some bitter with a little alcoholic taste, faint metallic aftertaste and somewhat watery... drinkable but easy to replace.

"Darker pour than the average lager. Smells of flowers and grain. Slightly medicinal but not overtly so. Otherwise kinda average across the board. Nothing I’d ever seek out again, but not bad. Cereal is the main player in the flavor, with a slight alcohol kick."

[Bottle] Light amber pour with a fizzy white head. Dusty grain and bread in the nose. Taste is of toffee, light grassy hops and maybe some cocoa powder. Body is typical of Mexican amber lagers. Tasting notes from 2012.

12oz bottle, rich amber in appearance. Aroma is fairly muted, some caramel and light malt. Taste is pretty mild as well, caramel malt and grain, light and watery.

Pours a clear amber with a one finger head which dissipates quickly. Smell is mild with lightly toasted grains. Taste of sweet grains with some slight spicy hops. Light bodied, with prickly carbonation. Not a very good representation of a bock, but drinkable.
