Random bottle found at in laws lake house fridge. pours amber brown with thin beige head. tastes of sweet malts, caramel, grains, and some nuttiness. Light bitter and booze on the finish. pretty decent

2010 version. Deep amber pour with a tight off-white head. The aroma is softly malty with a nice light toasted malt sweetness. A little bit of light nuttiness. Clean with a little bit of lingering sweetness. Soft but well-balanced. It’s on the light side for a bock, but it does have some character which is always nice to see. Pretty decent really.

Poured ruby brown, with a tan, lacing, creamy foam. Aroma of caramel, honey, roasted malts, hints of vanilla, oats, straw. Somewhat sweet taste in a light body and with low carbonation. Sweet aftertaste. Bit too sweet for me, but it was all right.

It pours a medium brown with a light tan, good lacing and retention.
The aroma is lots of spice with caramal.
The taste is light overall, not what you would think. Mouthfeel is ok, drinkability is ok.

Thanks to TH for supplying me with a bottle. Poured a clear, mid brown color with a small white head. The aroma was a little malt, and a touch of caramel. The flavor followed suit with a little malt. Meh.

2011-03-14. Crisp brown body with a small beige head. 3+ Modest sweet malty character with caramel accents in both the aroma and flavour. Lingering caramel in the finish, and light grainy notes as it warms up a bit. 6+ Average palate. Bit dull, but surprisingly decent while chilled. Bottle shared by DuctTape

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours clear brown with a rich beige head and a soapy dark malt aroma. There is a slightly thin brown ale flavor with some spice (maybe cinnamon).
