Gift from Glen. Pours copper/amber with a creamy 3 finger beige head. Strong malt aroma accompanied by a hint of xmas type spice. Med body. Tastes a little malty, might have cinnamon. Fairly tasty. Finishs lightly sweet with a suggestion of hop bitter.

Pours a rich amber brown with decent amount of almond-colored head. Aroma is slightly metallic and sour (glass bottle flavor). Malty and yeasty with a slight alcoholic sting to it, a little bit of caramel. All in all nothing special but I have definitely had worse beer.

Had a slight spoiled aroma. Very complicated taste. Almost an unfinished sweetness with a hint of malt.

Poured from the bottle with a red-tinged medium-amber color and topped by a thick, billowy, light-sand-colored head that eventually settling into a thin, foamy cap. The aroma was surprisingly sweet and almost reminded me of caramel corn. The flavor was likewise skewed toward the sweet malt end of the spectrum, with a nice dry, bready, caramel character that was up-front but not potent. Being a bit under-carbonated, the texture was smooth and easy. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the smooth, fairly dry sweetness of this beer.

Pours deep copper with a foamy ivory head. Subtle malt aroma. Malt, bread, caramel, and toffee flavors.

Pours dark reddish amber, thin white head, labeled 2010 edition. Aroma has notes very similar to most dark lagers, notes of roast and burnt toast, some bitterness at the end. Not bad, but nothing special.
