Sparkling orangey copper, off white creamy head. Nose was very bland with notes of toasted grains, caramel, and corn. Dry toasted caramel and metallic flavors are softly balanced by some light hop tones late. Light to medium bodied, prickly carbonation, toasty, toffeeish finish. Ehhhh.....

Bottle given by Peter and enjoyed the day after the A&K DC XMAS gathering:

Glowing coppery hue with a fading fizzy head and minimal lacing. The nose detects caramel, sweet bread, vanilla beans, earthy yeast, some apple, and grassy vapors. The taste is nicely fruity tart and caramel sweet. The feel is a bit metallic. A straight forward but tasty brew, easy to drink, smooth. I could drink a few of these.

Beautiful colr. Quiclky fading head. Malty aroma and flavor. Somewhat lighter bodied than I expected. Somewhat matly flavoer. Rather enjoyable though not too complex. Slightly bitter finish.

Looks like a Vienna. Smells metallic, some caramel, a bit chemical. Tastes of caramel, bit more metal, but a bit funky at end, kind of like wet dog hair. I haven’t actually ever tasted wet dog hair, but I imagine if I ever soaked a dog in a Vienna and drank off the runnings, it might taste like this. A reasonably clean dog, though.

Poured a copper color with a small, off white head, and no lacing. Aroma of light spice and caramel. Taste of cardboard, light sweetness, though it finished lightly sour.
