Somewhat being key here. Light bitterness some metal and wet dog. Not too much wet dog, but just enough to knock it down. Nekronos (2243), Xalapa, Mexico Oct 16, 2004 Updated: Jan 30, 2006Great beer!, seasonal but great. String, dark and strong. it’s name is taken after the flower "Noche Buena" and because is seasonal: Winter, you know Christmas Eve. PeterA (339), Virginia, USA May 25, 2004 Bottle (2003). Aroma is very mild, faint spiciness. Dark copper color, quickly disappearing beige head. Sweet and a touch malty. A little bit of a watery mouthfeel. I had this a while ago when the weather was cooler, and was more impressed, but I didn’t rate it. Just kind of average right now. fly (1331), austin, Tejas, USA May 7, 2004 Was tld long ago that this was the great beer that is long awaited at Christmas time. Well, I for one fiond there to be very little difference between this and Dos Equis. There, I said it. rodgar (14), Mexico City, Mexico Jan 3, 2004 Well, I just empty my cardboard case with 12 bottles of this brew in it. One for each month of the year I guess. 2003 Noche Buena Special Edition. Indeed is one-of-a-kind beer, otherwise the brewery will make it all year around. Creamy, Sweet, Refreshing. I love it! ghawener (952), San Salvador, El Salvador Dec 27, 2003 Bottle: Dark golden color, malty sweet but has little character. Light, tan head. BeerLimey (1873), California, USA Dec 21, 2003 Clear amber appearance, now you see it now you don't head formation. Sweet all malt creamy aroma, slight alcohol evidence. Sweet initially clean malty flavor, mild nuttiness half way through, some bitter bite in the finish. For a Mexibrew this is not too bad, and if I lived there I'd probably be anticipating it as much as I do Sierra Celebration every year.
