2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Lubiere (6707) - Ottawa, - NOV 1, 2006
Reddish dark maber with a quickly dissipating light moka head. Light caramel aroma. In mouth, a light nutty caramel malt with, lightly oily mouthfeel, rather thin and short in mouth. A summer vienna for the beach. Gracias Raul.
2.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 crossovert (2527) - Wisconsin, USA - FEB 11, 2012
2011 edition. gold-foiled 355ml bottle.
It pours a clear reddish brown with a creamy off-white head.
The smell is actually not too bad. It smells like noble hops and some pleasant carmally malts.
The flavor is more of a disappointment, it shows is Mexicaness. It has a it of metal, herbal notes form the hops, some muddled sweetness, and overall not that great.

Bottle as shown. Pours murky brown with a small off white head. The aroma is raisin bready malt. Thin mouthfeel with bitter roasted malt. Easy to drink a decent dark lager.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 solidfunk (442) - Ontario, CANADA - JAN 11, 2012
Taste has a little bitter chocolate and some smell and taste of hops along the lines of a pale ale. There’s a bit of a foul malt smell occasionally. This was the 2011 edition, bottled - a friend brought it from DF.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 italarican (797) - Astoria, New York, USA - JAN 8, 2012
Bottle during Thanksgiving ’11 that came in a Dos Equis holiday case brought by my brother-in-law. This was ok. It had a taste of slightly sour malt and bitter chocolate. Slightly metallic in the finish. The chocolate saves the beer.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 rubbishystuff (1202) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 6, 2012
At Taco Loco. Not that bad, didn’t detect that off adjunct flavor. Body a little thin. Serving: Bottle

2011 bottle, a gift from a friend. Pours a clear, dark amber-red with a fluffy white head that lingers. Very sharp, yeasty aroma, with grass, malt, and a hint of citrus. Taste is sweet and sharp, with malt, sugar, and a lot of grassy yeast. Nice carbonation. Lingering sharpness that ends watery. Very drinkable, not bad.
