Hop, Drop n Roll IPA For us this is where it all started! The rich golden color comes from a blend of English and American base malts accented with substantial amounts of Victory and Wheat malt. The American citrus hops take center stage with emphasis on late boil additions of Citra and Amarillo. This signature ale is hopped before, during, and after the boil!

From can thanks to mphillipsdesign. Pours a medium golden amber hue with good sized head and great lacing. Aroma of strong citrus hops, grapefruit, and some lightly sweet malt, with hints of pine. Light to medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation. Taste is similar to smell, very hop forward with a good malt backbone to balance it out. Not too bitter for being so hoppy and great citrus notes. Finish is smooth with some hop bitterness lasting in the palate. Top 5 IPAs, arguably top 3! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can courtesy of McBeer. Wonderful creamy hop aroma. Murky Amber. Some lace. Creaminess softens the hops which have a bit of a peppery finish. A very nice IPA and some uniqueness for the style.

Can pour avg gold with orange hue and large white head. Nose juicy, resin, pineapple, hint of dank hop. Taste big bitter bite up front, dank and grassy hop flavor. Mid palate sweet malt leads to moderate bitter that lasts through the finish.

16 oz can shared by Eric at Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours orange copper with a huge off-white head and a strong citrus aroma. There is a full-bodied raspy pale malt flavor with a dry bitter finish. A very nice brew.

Pale golden pour with a thick white head. The aroma is really bright and juicy. Tropical fruit, pepper and a little bit of spice. Nice and fresh. Damn fine beer. Lemon and a bit of clean bitterness. Awesome.

Bottle, pours hazy orange. Aroma was very citrusy, hoppy, tropical, orange rind, pine. Taste was pretty nice, citrus, pine, orange peel, grapefruit, malty backbone, fairly bitter, extremely hoppy. Very nice beer overall.

For the hop lovers among us. Pours golden amber with a white head. The aroma is loaded with citrus and a little pine. The sweet malt hits the tongue first but the hops take over. Nice bitter taste and aftertaste. Dry and refreshing.

Far too aggressively hopped for my tastes. Astringent finish, golden color. Tried at Charlotte airport in 2015.

16oz can. Thanks Joe and Judy for this great N. Carolina Beer. Brownish Amber pour with small ring of lace. Aroma is well blended grapefruit with lemons. Flavors start with upfront bitterness mixed with solid citrus, followed by a weak malt back bone. Clean dry finish. Good palate. Love this one.

Shared at a tasting hosted by Steebo on February 13. The pour on this beauty is a nice coppery orange, pretty clear, with a nice thick white head and some great lace. The aroma has a lot of citrus in it, and there is just an awesome dank hoppiness going on. The flavor is much more malty, although the dankness is as prevalent as ever. Its crazy how different the nose and flavor are. The dank citrus just defines the flavor. The mouth feel is pretty well done. Nice and oily with a good carbonation that helps it cling. The aftertaste is lingeringly bitter and drawn out on the citrus. I like this one!

Bottom of the can stamped 03/24/15. This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a nice looking copper color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute leaving light streams of lacing. The smell had a glossy sweet citrus to light bitter citrus imparting a light spice to balance. The taste was sweet to bitter and added the light spice to enliven and help to accentuate a nice bitterness rolling into the aftertaste and adding a decent dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation rolls over my tongue nicely with a good IPA harshness. The bitterness level is at a medium level. Overall, I say this was a nice AIPA that I would have again.
