COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop, Drop ‘n Roll™ IPA For us this is where it all started! The rich golden color comes from a blend of English and American base malts accented with substantial amounts of Victory and Wheat malt. The American citrus hops take center stage with emphasis on late boil additions of Citra and Amarillo. This signature ale is hopped before, during, and after the boil!

Stopped by Duckworth’s in Charlotte last week and having never tried anything from these guys, I stared out the evening with this. The beer presented in a tall tulip glass. A slightly hazy dark amber/gold color with a good bit of froth on top. Big hoppy aroma. Grapefruit, orange slices, honeydew melon, freshly-ground hop cones. That’s what I’m talking about. Very nice aroma. I’m excited for this one. Moderate heft, holds up to the alcohol and flavor profile nicely. Crisp finish. Fresh hops all over the palate. Nothing tastes artificial or cheap here. Lots of fresh citrus fruity flavors, mild veggie greens, sweet honey malts - great balance! This was surprising. Such a great IPA. I am continually impressed and excited that NC is finally making some strides and improving their IPAs offered. One of the top-3 in the state IMO. Nice work, NoDa.

This definitely lives up to the hype. It smashes all over the palette like Arkanoid on some kind of hyperdrive chaos setting. One of the better IPA cans I’ve ever had. Scored along with numerous other sick local beers from the incredible Brawleys in Charlotte, NC - who just installed some in-store taps, making them a truly essential stop-off.

Pint sized can. Aroma of fresh hops and earthy green, light resin. Flavor is grapefruit with green resin again, not overly bitter. Mid tropical but not a ton. Easy drinking and enjoyable.

Draught at the NoDa, Charlotte, NC. Clear golden colour with a small white head. Piney and fruity aroma with moderate bitterness and some maltiness. Nice. The flavour is strong bitterness, resiny and grapefruity hops and some herbal notes. Strong bitterness. The aftertaste is pure hoppy bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poor is golden with some lace. Aromas of tropical fruits. Flavor is delicious. This IPA falls on the citrus side of the ipa style. It is very complex and flavorful. Each sip that will leave you wanting more!

Can pours a copper/orange with a medium off-white head. Aroma is a nice sweet balance of caramel malt and floral and tropical hops, which are mildly resinous. Taste starts with a solid upfront bitterness smoothing into fruity hop and caramel sweetness. A well rounded and nice IPA.

Can with thanks to CarolinaKevin! Pours crystal clear orange with a medium beige creamy head that lasts a long time and laces well. Aroma is heavenly Citra, passionfruit, mango, a bit buttery, some dankness. Flavor follows, light plus sweet and light bitter, really well balanced and not harsh at all, juicy juicy juicy and a bit of sweaty dankness to tie it together. Medium oily body. This is one of the best single IPA’s on the market today, for sure.

Pour from 16oz can, hazy orange gold hue with creamy white head, smells of fragrant pine, some spice, medium texture, more lemon citrus than juice, overall very drinkable, nothing overly spectacular

Draft from the source. Pours a hazy orange with medium head and tenacious lacing. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruits up front with dank hemp-like aroma, pine resin, . Taste is grapefruit, lemon zest, orange oils, hop perfection. A welcome bitterness with dusty and Earth notes. NoDa killed this, a worthy beer for all beer lovers to sample at least once.

Serving: Can. It pours a hazy amber color with a small white head. The nose leaps out at you with tons of hops. Lots of citrus and lighter floral notes. There is a touch of malt sweetness that is quickly drowned out by all the hoppy goodness. Fairly light body with a dry finish. I could drink a ton of this.

Had at the CLT airport, pours golden Amber witha small off white head. Nose is full of pine and dank. Taste continues with ample bitterness and a long drying finish.
