COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop, Drop ‘n Roll™ IPA For us this is where it all started! The rich golden color comes from a blend of English and American base malts accented with substantial amounts of Victory and Wheat malt. The American citrus hops take center stage with emphasis on late boil additions of Citra and Amarillo. This signature ale is hopped before, during, and after the boil!

Stopped by Duckworth’s in Charlotte last week and having never tried anything from these guys, I stared out the evening with this. The beer presented in a tall tulip glass. A slightly hazy dark amber/gold color with a good bit of froth on top. Big hoppy aroma. Grapefruit, orange slices, honeydew melon, freshly-ground hop cones. That’s what I’m talking about. Very nice aroma. I’m excited for this one. Moderate heft, holds up to the alcohol and flavor profile nicely. Crisp finish. Fresh hops all over the palate. Nothing tastes artificial or cheap here. Lots of fresh citrus fruity flavors, mild veggie greens, sweet honey malts - great balance! This was surprising. Such a great IPA. I am continually impressed and excited that NC is finally making some strides and improving their IPAs offered. One of the top-3 in the state IMO. Nice work, NoDa.

Well this is strong hoppy IPA, extra herbal and resiny on the nose and in the taste. Some maltiness but not enough to balance the bitter hoppiness. Not very palatable in my opinion, although very "organic" tasting. Pours an orange copper color, average carbonation and medium bodied. Objectively, I can see the uniqueness of this brew, but subjectively I will not be drinking this again.

Big can. Charlotte airport. Orange pour, dirty white head and soapy lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus, floral. Tastes are pine, orange, grapefruit, resiny, even bitter. Nice creamy palate. Bitter, but balanced. Very drinkable.

Can thanks to mrebeks for sharing. Cloudy orange-copper pour with a small head that fades to a ring. Dank aroma of citrus and tropical fruit. Tastes juicy and moderately bitter. Citrus, pine, tropical fruit and light caramel. Medium to full body. Really good juicy and dank IPA.

This one poured a semi hazy light orange with a white head. Atoms was tropical and grapefruit hops. Flavor was similar, over average bitterness, but lots of flavor, and not too much sweetness either.

Fresh can shared by RussianDragon. Thanks Dave! The beer is nearly clear with a copper / orange body and an inch or more of white head. Huge aroma of fresh hops, pine, grass. Gigantic waves of resinous hops blast the palate. Pine and grass. Hurts so good. An unexpected surprise. Terrific beer.

Can: The aroma consists of moderate citrus, dank notes, and lemon peel. It’s a cloudy dull dark orange with a small white head that quickly fades to a thin film. There is a decent amount of thin webbing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate sweet citrus and lighter tropical fruits. The finish has light grapefruit and dank hops. It’s medium bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel.

Can: Thanks, Mike. Cloudy, beaming copper. Small white film fades instantly to a thin collar. Aroma full of sticky, juicy hops; mango, guava, light passion fruit, pineapple, mostly tropical. Light dankness with some resinous oils, sweet perfume, & fresh leaves. Flavor with mild pine needle, spruce, green onion, dank leaves, light citrus pith, & a strong bitterness from start to finish. A touch of passion fruit with some pungent perfume that lingers long past the finish. Pretty nice IPA.

Can. Not sure of appearance given it is in a can. Nice thick creamy head. Good floral hop aroma. Reasonable complexity and smooth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
