Hop, Drop ‘n Roll™ IPA For us this is where it all started! The rich golden color comes from a blend of English and American base malts accented with substantial amounts of Victory and Wheat malt. The American citrus hops take center stage with emphasis on late boil additions of Citra and Amarillo. This signature ale is hopped before, during, and after the boil!

Stopped by Duckworth’s in Charlotte last week and having never tried anything from these guys, I stared out the evening with this. The beer presented in a tall tulip glass. A slightly hazy dark amber/gold color with a good bit of froth on top. Big hoppy aroma. Grapefruit, orange slices, honeydew melon, freshly-ground hop cones. That’s what I’m talking about. Very nice aroma. I’m excited for this one. Moderate heft, holds up to the alcohol and flavor profile nicely. Crisp finish. Fresh hops all over the palate. Nothing tastes artificial or cheap here. Lots of fresh citrus fruity flavors, mild veggie greens, sweet honey malts - great balance! This was surprising. Such a great IPA. I am continually impressed and excited that NC is finally making some strides and improving their IPAs offered. One of the top-3 in the state IMO. Nice work, NoDa.

Pint can from the brewery. Citrus aromas, grapefruit, orange rind. Clear orange with a mostly lasting off-white head. Dry, hops dominate, pretty bitter, light caramel flavor. Medium bodied.

On draught at the brewery, this pours a deep golden-amber into the glass with a huge 4-finger head that leaves a nice froth cap with thick ring lacing. The nose is beautiful, floral and citrusy with woody pine accents. Flavors have grapefruit, pine needles, lots of rind/peel notes, light biscuit, light lemon (with zest) and finishes with plenty of citrus zest and pine bitters, lingering appropriately. The medium body offers a smooth, creamy mouthfeel that quenches the palate superbly. Pairing it, on-site, with fresh seafood was a delight. Complex, substantial, fruity, floral, bitter... what's not to enjoy? Perfect flagship brew for a very nice brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a green 16 oz can with a yellow classic car. Canned 6 days ago on 12/29/15. Pours clear copper color with a white head. Aroma is fresh citrus and pine. Oily mouthfeel. Flavor is fresh juicy grapefruit and a hint of pineapple. Finishes with bitter grapefruit zest and pine resin. Bitter finish that lingers.

Amber color out of the big can with a a foamy off white head. Huge citrus and piney hop nose. This is a bitter beer with some grapefruit, bitter orange, pine and an earthy resin in the finish. There is an attempt at balance with some caramel and bread crust, but in the end this is a hop bomb.

Can, huge thanks to Santa. Pours out a nice slightly hazy orangy copper color with a moderate white head. Aroma is of lemon rind, juicy citrus, light dank piney notes, mild toast. Taste is complex, nice hop profile, juicy citrus, white grapefruit, lemon peel, dank hops, light resin and some more links bread notes for just a tad of balance. This one is a good punch of hops. Really solid beer.
