Hop, Drop ‘n Roll™ IPA For us this is where it all started! The rich golden color comes from a blend of English and American base malts accented with substantial amounts of Victory and Wheat malt. The American citrus hops take center stage with emphasis on late boil additions of Citra and Amarillo. This signature ale is hopped before, during, and after the boil!

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2014 Very good IPA to drink while at the airport in Charlotte NC. Yep, i?m at Bad Daddy?s Burger Bar. This is a tasty brew on way home to VA. Cheers! Highly recommend . Great choice of variety hops to give that fine west coast flavor.

One of my favorite ipa's. Lucky to have them so close in Charlotte. Amazing aroma and taste. Complex nose and well balanced taste. Love it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with tangerine hues and a 1.5 finger white head. Good retention, only slowly fading into a lasting cap. Splotchy lacing left behind. Spicy hop aroma with tropical fruit and resinous pine notes along with bread and a pale malt backbone. Slightly grassy with hints of pine, mango, pineapple, lemon peel bread/yeast and biscuit. Medium bodied with crisp hop bitterness that lingers over the sweet malt backbone into a dry finish. Resinous oils with grassy pine and earthy bitterness countered by subtle fruit sweetness. Malt backbone is stronger than expected but doesn’t interfere too much with the hops giving off notes of biscuit and graham cracker. Well balanced yet still retains a strong hop profile. Enjoyable and easy to drink.

16 oz can purchased at brewery’s tap room to go. NoDa Hop, Drop ’n Roll IPA is a mildly hazy orange amber liquid with a decent white head. Nose is citrus and some fruit. Taste is a bit of apricot, citrus and decent hops. A very pleasant blend of flavors. Nice medium body. a very nice IPA.

5 oz. pour, on tap at the brewery’s taproom in Charlotte, North Carolina. Consumed on 9-20-15. Pours a hazy, bright, orange-gold-brass. Light beige head. Produces good, very extensive lacing. Apricot nectar-like appearance. Good, dank, piney, sweaty aroma. Quite hoppy. Very good smelling beer. Invitingly funky aroma at first, but it gets a little old on multiple sniffs. Definitely memorable in smell. Really nice, hoppy flavor. A touch of apricot fruitiness. Really pleasant. Well above average IPA. Really well done. Funky, dry aftertaste with a touch of spice. Soft, frothy, and smooth in the palate. These palate effects work really well with a good IPA. Quite impressive.

This might be one of my favorite IPAs. It pours a cloudy orange color with a decent head/retention. Citrus nose. Definitely can taste the citra hops. There is an IPA bitterness, but not overly so. Perfect amount for a citra hops IPA. Malt backbone, but once again not overly done. I am reading how others are getting a mango taste. I am getting a bit of a peach, with an orange zest to it. Bitterness lingers after the taste is gone. Upset that this is not available in my state, otherwise this would be one I would regularly get.

The beer pours a very hazy golden orange color with a small off white head. Juicy, fruity nose. Some grapefruit, non descript citrus along with some sweet malts. Seems to be a yeast element as well, maybe some tropical notes (peach??). Tremendous flavor the whole way through. A grapefruit citrus pop up front rolls in to some tremendous malt/wheat notes and the finish is amazing! Extremely dry, pleasant lingering bitterness. So much going on in this beer, its a really nice surprise for an IPA! Huge body on this one from the grain bill...fits nicely with the insanely dry finish. 7.2% ABV isn’t noticeable at all. Excellent, Thanks Jeff!

Draft at Carolina Beer Co in the Charlotte airport terminal. Pours a deep hazy golden orange body with thick white lacing. Aroma is melon and other citrus fruits. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with prickly carbonation in the finish and notes of bitter grapefruit and mango. Nice stuff, not sure how fresh but it hits the spot after a stressful flight.

Pours a cloudy golden copper color with a little white head and good lacing. Mild aroma of malt and mango. Tastes of mango/tropical fruit followed by a grapefruit citrus bitterness. Not a bad beer.
