COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop, Drop ‘n Roll™ IPA For us this is where it all started! The rich golden color comes from a blend of English and American base malts accented with substantial amounts of Victory and Wheat malt. The American citrus hops take center stage with emphasis on late boil additions of Citra and Amarillo. This signature ale is hopped before, during, and after the boil!

On tap at VBGB in Charlotte. Orange color with a big white head. Lots of citrus in the nose and in the palate, with a great hop finish. I really liked this one.

Tap @ brewery. Hazy amber with dissipating head and moderate lacing. Lots of grapefruit in the nose and resin. Flavor follows. Dry and hoppy.

On tap at Beer Study, Chapel Hill. Nice semi-cloudy orange pour, with a frothy head. Huge citrus nose, quite pungent but backed up by ample malts for balance. Pretty nice Carolinian IPA, and the freshness of the fruit flavors is complemented well by a lengthy bitter finish. One of NC’s better hoppy offerings.

Draught. Pours a nice amber color with a moderate white head. Nose has some good floral and pine elements in there that make it really inviting. Taste is good and bitter, but it ends up being very crisp and refreshing. Really nice IPA.

Stopped by Duckworth’s in Charlotte last week and having never tried anything from these guys, I stared out the evening with this. The beer presented in a tall tulip glass. A slightly hazy dark amber/gold color with a good bit of froth on top. Big hoppy aroma. Grapefruit, orange slices, honeydew melon, freshly-ground hop cones. That’s what I’m talking about. Very nice aroma. I’m excited for this one. Moderate heft, holds up to the alcohol and flavor profile nicely. Crisp finish. Fresh hops all over the palate. Nothing tastes artificial or cheap here. Lots of fresh citrus fruity flavors, mild veggie greens, sweet honey malts - great balance! This was surprising. Such a great IPA. I am continually impressed and excited that NC is finally making some strides and improving their IPAs offered. One of the top-3 in the state IMO. Nice work, NoDa.

At the revolution on tap. Good. I liked it. I want to move to noda. Not hoppy as hell.

Brewvival Trip Beer 123. Draft at the brewery. Pours a hazy amber color with a thin creamy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of candied citrus, floral hops, stone fruits, caramel malts. The taste is citrus, candied citrus, earthy and floral hops. Medium bodied.

I love this IPA. It is my favorite style and this is one of my favorites of the style. Great Hop/Malt Balance, yet presents a nice "West Coast" hop forward taste and mouthfeel. I order one wherever I find it.

Pint at Tylers Apex. Good aroma, Bittersweet. Grapefruit, orange, caramel. Hazed brownish orange color. Boy initial head, faded to a soft cover. Bittersweet flavor. Medium body creamy mouthfeel, bitter finish . Good, nothing distinguishable from many other ipa’s.

Tap at Beer study. Cool new place in chapel hill for craft beer. Nice job, JD! Lots of nc taps that we don’t usually see in the triangle. This one poured a hazy amber orange with a two finger off whie head. Nose is nice, fresh, and fruity--citrus, light tropical fruits, light caramel malt. Nice stuff. Fairly dry and tasty.
