Draft at Carolina Vineyards & Hops. Amber pour. Well balanced, some slight biscuit, plenty of orange peel punch, nice spiciness to keep it interesting. Nice caramel stickiness in the finish.

Draft at revolution ale house. Pours light brown with a khaki head. Not much on the nose. A slight caramel note on the tongue. Finishes clean. Eh!

Draft - red color. No shock. Little bit of a tan head on it. Smell is malty and has a nice little hop kick. Taste is watery but not in a bad way. Rich and flavorful yet not overpowering. Good stuff

Draft: pours amber with a nice white head. Aromas are caramel, fruit, and bread. It tastes of much the same, nothing to brag about.

On tap at NoDa. Pours an amber color with white head. Caramel, piney, bread, aromas and flavors. Not bad for a red.

On tap @ NoDa with jcnielsen. Pours a somewhat hazy dark items appearance with a lasting off white head. Definitely some caramel and toffee in the nose with a bit of bubblegum and dark fruit. Fairly high bitterness. Moderately sweet. Some candy notes also apparent in the flavor. Slightly goopy. Moderate piney/spicy hoppy flavor. Decent but maybe a bit thin.

Ok. On tap. Nothing to write home about. Try again. Other nodas are great. Lick jar.

Tap. Copper red with small head. First NoDa I’ve had that I didn’t really dig much. Muddy body with some mild hops. Eh.

Lubiere (9998) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 24, 2013
A reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with grainy notes, and British hops. In mouth, roasted burned malt with grassy hops, a bit astringent, OK.
