Aroma is lightly malty with loads of crackery fresh malts. Nice orange marmalade and earthy hoppiness on the top, but it definitely leans toward the malty side of things. Flavour has good balance with a lovely soft palate. Fairly fruity aroma with a touch of berryish esters. Low bitterness. Pretty solid. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

I must be a sucker for things Scottish; I consistently rate these higher than most. Call me a pushover. Big sharp malt/peat nose, very grassy & herbal (oregano). Strong earthy flavor, herbal hops throughout, smoky, nice body; very light appearance belies this beer’s depths and fullness of flavor. motelpogo (4399), Plzen, Czech Republic
