golden with white head. hoppy nose. some malt to complement the cascade flavor hops. a solid version of an APA

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear dark orange with a thick white head. Aroma of nice citrus hops. Flavor of crystal malt and citrus. Like other Nodding Head beers, on the sweet side...but probably the best of the Nodding Head beer I got to try. 7/4/6/3/14 (3.4/5)

Enjoyable but nothing fantastic. Very clean cascade notes throughout with lots of citrus and grass. Very easy to drink and well brewed. Super clean finish.

(10/19/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Philadelphia. Clear amber color. Aroma of hops, slightly flowery. A rather bitter hoppy flavor with a bit of caramel, quite a bit of citrus and piney notes. Medium-bodied. Nice.

On tap at Nodding Head. Pours a translucent copper with a medium creamy off white head. Aroma of floral/citrusy hops and caramel malt. Flavor was the same with some toasted malt notes. Very much like a really fresh Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

On draft at Nodding Head. Nice pour, a little lighter in color than I expected. Light to medium body with a good hop profile. On the lighter side for an APA, but refreshing.

Draft - part of sampler at brewery. Pours an amber/brown color with a normal-sized slightly off-white head. Aroma is malts, grass and citrus. Flavor is much the same. Pretty balanced IMO. Quite drinkable.

On tap at the brewpub. Dark orange or amber with an off white head. Decent citrus aroma and flavor with bisuity malt. Mild bitterness and dry finish. Kind of Dale’s light.
