COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Left Coast inspired pale ale...solid malt backbone coupled with a Cascade hop citrus snap makes for an enjoyable pint...after pint..after pint.

On draft at the brewpub. A pretty plain and straight forward pale ale. Typical appearance, decent head and lacing. Aroma of grains and citrus/floral hopping. Flavors followed but the malt seemed to have a bit of wheat in there, the finish certainly accentuated by bittering hops too. Overall, the flavor was a bit too weak and the mouthfeel watery/thin (wanted more out of this), but an ok drinker ahead of the Flyers’ game 4 W over Les Habs.

Tap, poured a dark orange color with a medium white head. Initial flavor has a nice bite to it, with a bitterness more akin to an IPA than a regular pale ale. The bitterness dies away and the flavor becomes a bit more subdued. A nice selection that I enjoyed.

Pours an orange-ish with a creme head. Minimal nose. Flavor is nice and hopped. Definitely a hop heads delight. But it’s definitely not a hop bomb though. Just comes at you in a firm fashion. Leaves a lasting impression in the mouth. Very nice drinker.

v. good hoppy brew, not too carbonated. not too malty and just hoppy enough to satisfy and IPA-lover and can still have one (or two) more

This beer has a nice burnt orange body topped off with a huge off white headwhich remains through the whole beer. The aroma has the citrus aroma of cascade hops with a bit of lemon, lime, and grapefruit. The flavor has a bit of a floral taste on the front end with orange and an iced tea flavor on the finish.

Pours a clear orange color into the lager glass. Scents of pine and grass dominated the nose. The taste was mostly hoppy with grassy, piney notes and not much of a malt backbone. A decent pale ale on tap.

Draft pint at the brewpub. Reddish amber with a thin head. Full-on aroma of piney hops. Drinks with a bit of a soapy quality, the malt not quite full enough to hang on to the hop astringency that gets more and more earthy as it warms. Fun beer. (#3189, 11/9/2007)

Clear orange/copper color. Citrus floral aroma. The taste was the same with bitter floral hop finish.
