color typical for the style. this smelled really good though. nice floral bouquet. it had a nice, smooth, hoppy flavor. it wasn’t overpowering but was very soothing. i can drink this all day long

Pours amber with a nice creamy off white head. Aroma of toffee, fruity hops, and salt. Very british like maltiness of caramel and toffee. Soft carbonation. Medium bitter finish that is very leafy, with a tad amount of soapiness. Not bad.

Dark amber-oak appearance with a slim head. Enticing fresh hop aroma, balanced with a hint of roasted malt. The taste does not disappoint, with an excellent balance of medium malt followed by the crisply-proportioned hop finish that lingers enjoyable in the top of your mouth. This is the best Nodding Head beer I tried and the only one I would order again.

Clear, deep gold body with moderate carbonation and a cottony, buff-colored head. Strong, earthy and baudy hop aroma with grapefruit citrus and some underlying sweet crystal malt. Strong woodsy hop flavor with some toasty malt balance. A decent, assertive APA.

Nice hops aroma, grapfruity, quite west coast as they say. tight beige 2mm head on reddish brown beer, good lacing. flavor is per aroma plus floral, decent bready malt underpinning. nice, smooth, good hoppy finish that stays with you. right on point, this is one of their most on target beers.

On tap at the Nodding Head. Poured a medium and clear orange color wtih an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of pine, citrus and some caramel. Tastes of grapefruit, some caramel and lighter pine. Reminded me more of an IPA.

sampler at brewpub. Clear amber with a small off white head and medium carbonation. Aroma is of citrus with some slight sweet maltiness coming through. Taste was hoppy, maybe they recently changed the recipe because there was a decent amount of malt for the style, at least IMO. Long lasting bitter finish.

On draft at Nodding Head. Pours a clear, dark copper with thin white head. Floral nose with some citrus. I’m not sure where the "solid malt backbone" was. It wasn’t in my beer. Boring hop profile as well. Pretty weak.
