3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Shaker cask pour at the brewpub in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The pour is deeply hazed brown, with not too much of a khaki head. The aroma is sweet malt, malted chocolate, and touch of bitter sweetness. The taste is real chocolate, semi sweet chocolate chips, along with caramel malt and a fruity yeastiness. The palate is light to medium bodied, silky cask mouth feel, naturally low carbonation, and a sweet finish. Nice enough.
