Deep brown pour, nose is quite roasty. Mouth was chocolaty and very enjoyable. As a self exclaimed hated of brown ales, this was quite a treat!

Draft - part of sampler at brewery. Pours a med-to-dark brown color with a nice creamy, off=white head. Aroma is roasted malts and a hint of semi-dark chocolate. Flavor is mostly the roasted malts, with a slight balancing with some mild hops and a little sweetness from the chocolate notes. Medium bodied. Rather drinkable.

Cask @ NH - Dark brownish crimson, thin off white head. Roasted milk chocolate aromas warm to notes of toast and caramel. Milk chocolate flavors balance on soft toasty notes. Just a hint of bitterness rounds this out well Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A nice session ale...

Pours just short of opaque. Nose is woody. Flavor is whoa! Nice and hearty. Woody character. Thick robustness that is nowhere near overdone. Slight bitter back tone. Feel is thick enough on the liquid. Has a good level of carbonation. Very drinkable. A good brown ale. If you see it, go for it.

Very dark brown with a thick frothy head. Aroma was that of chocolate and caramel. Smooth flavor of Chocolate, caramel, and a hint of smoke that was easy to drink.

Draft-Nodding Head Center City Philadelphia. Dark Brown ale, came highly recommended but not a big fan. It does have a slight chocolate/earthy flavor but overall nothing overwhelming and not enjoyable to me when it was serviced lukewarm. Its still better than Monkey Knife fight...
