3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with standard white head. Aroma has loads of ginger and is spicy but also a bit soapy. Tastes like those ginger chew candies. Spicy ginger finish with a light body. Prickly carbonation. The ginger can get overwhelming, but there’s some non-US chewable ginger candy that this tastes exactly like.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap, at brewery. Pours a clear pale yellow with a minimal white head. Nice light spice on the nose with a little lemongrass, but a fairly prominant and distinct ginger note. Light and airy flavor with gentle spicing, very easy drinking. Lingering lemongrass and and prickly ginger finish. Light bodied with nice fizzy carbonation, rather champagne like. I thought this was pretty nice for such a light beer.

Lemon and ginger nose. Pours yellow with a small head. Sweet with a little spice from the ginger. A little carbonated but otherwise a great refresher!

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the brewpub. Interesting creamy, spicy and exotic aroma, soft. Pours a vibrantly clear pale golden with minimal head. This beer is warm. I’ve been served a warm spiced lager. Odd. Flavors are restrained and delicious. The combination of lemongrass and ginger over a relatively plain, yet still a touch creamy, malt base makes for a satisfying, punchy, and thirst-quenching brew. One of the better flavored lagers.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Had on tap at Nodding Head. Pours a very light straw color, minimal white head with no noticable lacing. Aroma is of lemongrass and ginger, tastes like it smells. Has a health tonic taste to it, as it is very light. Good but nothing I would order over and over.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On draught at Nodding Head. Arrived at the table a crystal clear gold with a moderate white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left a bit of lace. Light aroma of ginger and malt. The flavor contains a nice solid dose of ginger without being overpowering, along with some malt and just a bit of the lemongrass. Medium bodied and fairly smooth on the palate. Different and enjoyable!
