From the tap poured a golden color with a good amount of head. Light spicy malty flavor with a quick finish.

A decent triple, the buckwheat adds an interesting twist, but overall this one doesn’t stand out.

Draft at Nodding Head. Pours a clear golden body with barely any head. Aroma is typical belgian spice and sweet candy. Mouthfeel is slightly carbonated with same notes in the flavor as mentioned in the aroma.

Tap at Nodding Head, yesterday. Pours golden bubbly with a 2 finger tan head. Nose is sweet and spicy and yeasty. Taste is sweet, spicy brisk and very refreshing. I like it a lot.

Draft, at Nodding Head on 7/24/09. Pours pale golden, topped with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, fruit, Belgian yeast, and citrus. Flavor is fairly sweet, with notes of wheat, candi sugar, clove, spice and white pepper. Sweet finish, with some spice lingering. Medium body, with some syrupy character. Good stuff; really refreshing.

BCTWC 09. Hazy golden yellow with a nice small lasting tight white head. Fruity and spicy belgian yeast in the aroma, fruity ligth lemony kick- and a bit grassy- spicy green peppercorn as well. Moderatly sweet flavor, doughy, wheat-liek with a citrus lemon zest kick, and a grassy spritzy refreshing finish.

Looks like infected urine. Nose is yeasty and sweet. Flavor is kumquat and cloves. Not bad, nothing fantastic.
