Tap, pours a vibrant orange-yellow. Aroma and flavor are very bright, though I think it misses the mark of a saison. Flavor is quite bland, and sickly-sweet. DOn’t think I will try this one again.

Aroma is spicy, early, yet clean. Creamy foamy mouthfeel, overall, not too bad.

Hazy golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits, coriander, some orange, earthy yeast, grass, and pepper. Taste of citrus, honey, vanilla, up front, with spices and pepper, and a dry finish.

GABF 09. Pours a hazy deep straw with a modest white head. Aroma is earthy, phenolic, light dry toasty malts, cobwebby, herbs, light spices- slight salt-spray sea-like dupont yeastiness. Flavor is a doughy malt backbone- slight citrus- orange and lemon zest- very light though- phenolic, light plastic, some fruits, earth grass and herb hoppiness- finish is a bit on the malty side and could be a bit cleaner and more attenuated, but still decent.

Tap at the brewpub: Hazy yellowish golden with a white film of head. Marmalade aroma- some candied wheat, herbal honey, mild coriander and sweet bubblegum esters. Low carbonation for the style. Sweet fore flavor- some lemon cookie character due to the sweet pale malts meshing with the bubblegum esters and spicy phenolics. Not dry enough to my taste.

Draft. Pours light gold with a white head. Spicy aroma with a citric hint. The flavor has spices, a light fruity sweetness, an earthy hint, and a dry yeasty finish. Not bad.

Multiple samples, GABF 2006. Body is light amber. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, cereal), with notes of plastic and butter. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Best not to say too much. If you’ve had their Berliner weisse, you can probably guess what you’re in for with this one.

Pour is clear golden yellow with a thin white head...funky straw and hay aroma...taste is overly sweet with some citric and earthy funk...
