On Tap- Chef Paul’s with Jude. 8 oz tulip glass, very dark brown with cream head. No discernible aroma. Body is surprisingly thin. Taste is sweet- not syrupy but rather like granulated sugar. Some sour / tartness in the middle and finish. Average, nothing special.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
03.03.2007. 0,25l Bottle. This beer has a changing alcohol content. The bottle I rated in 2007 had a alcohol content of 6% abv, and is therefor not "the same" as rated here??

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours amber brown with rocky tan head. Sweet aroma, malty, vanilla and fruits notes, some dough also. Good bitter taste balanced with medium sweetness, some malt and again the dry fruits. Round flavour. Medium/full body, soft carbonation, light bitter sweet after taste. Very good.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 10/20
A very airy head on top of a amber beer.
Aroma; Good fruitynes, some malt.. Not very much aromas at all really...
Flavours; Same as aromas, starts with a good malty profil, but then... Nothing.
Summary; The good thing about this beer is the carbonation. Thats pretty much all I can say. Its not bad, its just not there.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a deep brown-red body with a medium-lasting off-white top. Smell is mild raisins with hints of yeast and grapes. Taste is typically Belgian: lots of candy sugar on a rather bubbly palate, with some boozy notes - this is a warming Christmas brew for sure. Rather simple in composition, at least when compared to many of its fellow seasonals. Some metallic tones - probably from the fermentation process rather than a bad batch of malts - come along mid-palate, growing stronger towards the end. As I don’t really like that at all, I will let the rating suffer for it. Otherwise, Noël de Silenrieux a pretty straight and forward Belgian Xmas ale.

Splendida ale natalizia con sentori fruttati, di frutti rossi ma anche di mela, Elena suggerisce "uga merella" (uva fragola) e non ha torto, sia al naso che in bocca; deliziosa, la birra adatta per concludere una bellissima serata.
