Light brown coloured beer with medium brownish head and lots of carbonation. Malty fruity aroma. Full creamy and bit sparkling palate. Finish is bit roasted bitter dry.

Small to medium, yellow-beige head over reddish amber, veiled beer. Spiced (staraniseed, pinch of cinnamon) bread nose, good touch of caramel; caramelized orange peel - sweet but attractive. Roasted-bitterish flavour, with some UK hop-like notes backthroat, and of course more caramel, if not really sweet. Spritzy carbonation, quite slick and medium bodied. Bit sticky aftertaste. Spiced (yeast,) notes working against the general syrupy sweetness. OK, if precarious balance.

Bottle 330ml.
Alc. 6.5%. Clear medium to dark red amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, vintage malt, burnt brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091114]

Hazy orange with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and overripe fruits. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, overripe fruits and caramel notes. Finished sweet.

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a light tan head. The aroma has strong notes of fruit and some malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and over ripe fruits as well as a light touch of metal , leading to a dry finish.

Bottle, 6.5%. Mild sweet aroma. Hazy dark brown colour. small stable light brown head. The flavour starts off nicely sweet and vinous. Turns a little towards brown sugar. Low to medium bitterness. Sweet, but nice.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden dark orange to hazzlenut brown. Dry phenolic and oxidised malty aroma. Sweet malty and light breadish flavoured. Light spiced and dry malty lingering into the finish. A bit too phenolic and dry for my taste.

33cl, from De Bierloods Adegem, complex brew, yet easy to drink, not balanced, cloudy, rocky head, nice brew
