India Saison is the hoppy, crisp and refreshing result of a north south collaboration. Classic Belgian malts and yeast, pungent Australian new hop varieties and clean Norwegian water. Served chilled and enjoy with cheeses and charcuterie. This product is bottle conditioned and has a slight sediment at the bottom of the bottle.

Slightly hazy yellow color, huge cloudy white head, lace. Flowery citrus, mango, spicey (white pepper) aroma. Medium-bodied. Citrus, very hoppy, apricot fruity, white peppery and Saison yeasty. Strong bitterness in the aftertaste. Yes, certainly combination of citrusy Australian hops and evident Saison yeast.

Draft at Blue Dog. This poured golden, hazy, with white head. The nose was heavy tropical fruit, black pepper, yeasty funky malt. Tasted yeasty, funky, with a heavy hop flavor and pineapple, tangerine, and black pepper. Like a saison/Citra hop IPA hybrid, and very good.

Bottle. Amber beer with a big whitish head. Yeast and spice aroma with grapefruit. Spice and yeast flavor with earth, pine, and light grapefruit. Medium bodied. Pine and spice lingers with yeast and grapefruit.

I immediately found interest in this beer as it has both India and Saison in its name. Glad to say i wasn't disappointed! It had just the level of bitterness needed but also, it had the extra touch of "saison". Perfect for summer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Huge, bit fluffy just off-white head over hazed orange beer. Very aromatic USA-type hops, dry hopbales, bit of ureum, citruspeel, unripe green grapes. Bitter, herbal hops out in force.’Pungent’, as in the blurb, fits it correctly. Again ureum, serious whiff of sulphur. Dry, with dry-out effect included. IMO, the name "India Saison" means poppycock, but I do like the beer - very much.

50 cl Bottle @ Olympen, Oslo. Light hazy blond coloured beer with some very light carbonation and a medium but diminishing white head. Strong hoppy hopflower bitter hinted aroma. Medium to full palate. Finish is hoppy, hints of flowers with a decent bitter tone. Surprisingly strong with only 40 IBU. Strong but enjoyable IPA but not really a saison.

Bottle from Crown Liquors, downtown Indy. Very cloudy pale straw gold pour with a vigorous, fizzy carbonation. Halfway between a pale lager and an IPA by the look of it, but the spicy, yeasty nose exemplifies the hybrid. The soft fruits in the nose are obscured in favor of bitter, dry hops in the taste; but that suited me fine, as it brought out the tasty, spicy notes just a bit more. Well done.

UPDATED: JUL 1, 2014 500ml bottle (Old Bank, Turku) (7:4:6:3:13=3.3)
Pleasant crisp citrussy and fruity hop aroma. Nice hazy deep yellow. Massively yeasty retronasals. Some vanilla. Very active carbonation, needs swirling, and quite a biting palate. Yeast dominates breadiness next, but the massive bitter bite kicks in very quickly and gives you mouth quite a pucker. Dry in the extreme. A little bit of alcohol appears later.

Fake throw-in-a-saison-cube cookie-cutter aroma. Same taste. Total mess. Boozy. Rough. Vegetal. Argh!

0,5 flaske fra Polet: en herlig humlearoma og langvarig skum. Høy bitterhet og lav sødme i smaken og bitterheten dominerer i ettersmaken. En spennende versjon av saison.
