India Saison is the hoppy, crisp and refreshing result of a north south collaboration. Classic Belgian malts and yeast, pungent Australian new hop varieties and clean Norwegian water. Served chilled and enjoy with cheeses and charcuterie. This product is bottle conditioned and has a slight sediment at the bottom of the bottle.

500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet. Big white head that fades quickly. Misty, warm and golden/light brown body. Sour aroma of hops and alcohol. Taste is fruity and sweet at once, but gets bitter after a while.

Mmmm, lovely combination of a Saison and a Ipa. Four finger head, white and frothy. High carbonation. Lovely hopped crisp and clean with some spice/peppery taste. Nøgne have done it again, with Bridge Road Brewers, a lovely brew :) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(50 cl bottle from Den Nordiske Ølhandel; Batch #755; BBD; January 25th 2017) Pours a slightly hazy amber, with frothy, white head and lively carbonation. Beautiful lacework, good retention and decent regeneration. Aroma is fresh and vinous with notes of saison yeast and some tropical fruits. Oily texture, medium body with a moderately bitter and astringent finish. Flavour follows the nose but has more herbal hoppy bitterness. An exciting and pleasant beer although I would prefer it with a little less ABV and hop bitterness and ever so slightly more aromatic hops. I guess the aroma would be more hop forward had I gotten it fresher. This one was brewed 12 months ago already.

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2013 One of the best smelling beers you will ever encounter - fresh passionfruit without the overbearing citrus qualities. Taste is unbelievably smooth - needs a bit more of the yeastiness of a dupont to boost it a little. And yet, still my favourite saison. Love it!

Bottle. Hazy light amber liquid with medium to big white head. Aroma of white pepper, citrus, wheat, tangerines, grapefruit, tropical fruit and bubblegum. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of tangerines, citrus, wheat and white pepper. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Nice and refreshing. A good modernization of a classic style.

Bottle at home (BOE) - 22/10/12. Clear pale golden with a mahooosive frothy slightly off white head that reduces in time. Nose is bitter citrus, grass, straw, earthy, farmy, lemongrass, spice. Taste comprises grass, earthy tones, lemon, citrus, mineral, yeast esters, sour gooseberries. Medium bodied, carbonation evident perfect for the style, softish, bitter dry finish. Decent refreshing saison.
