India Saison is the hoppy, crisp and refreshing result of a north south collaboration. Classic Belgian malts and yeast, pungent Australian new hop varieties and clean Norwegian water. Served chilled and enjoy with cheeses and charcuterie. This product is bottle conditioned and has a slight sediment at the bottom of the bottle.

Has a hazy golden colour and a decent off white head which hangs around nicely. I really like aroma, it’s quite citrusy and fruity. The citrus taste also comes through, a bit like grapefruit for me. Good mouthfeel which matches well to the beer. Overall, I’d happily buy one again.

Tap at Pudel in Tallinn. Hazy golden colour, head off-white, retaining and lacing rather nicely. Fresh fruity, citrusy, wheaty aroma. Tastes similarily, with an enjoyable juiciness to it. Acidic notes and grassy hoppiness in the finish. Medium dryness and thin carbonation. Did not notice the ABV when drank it - I’m now very much surprised to see it’s 7.5! A well done brew.

Une très belle saison marquée par l’amertume et la fraîcheur du houblon sur un fond de citron et de gingembre, la bouche est très raffraîchissante, longue, fruitée et équilibrée. Un régal après cette longue journée.

The beer is clear with a golden color and white head. The head retention is moderate. Aroma is esters like peach and pear. The hop aroma is citrus. Yeast notes are hay and barnyard. There is a delicate wet cardboard and alcohol in there too. Moderate carbonation and medium density. The taste is moderatly sweet and the alcohol is present. Plus the alcohol is accentuated by hop bitterness that stays long in the aftertaste. I don’t much enjoy it.

Pale blond with large soapy head. Aroma of grass and lime at first with some floral hop too. Very light and refreshing with a sharp orangey tang. Fairly sharp and mouth watering with a nice, moderate hop bitterness in the finish.

the aroma is malty and herbal with notes of animal farm and straw... the taste is malty and hoppy with shades of spicy herbs, spruce cones and feijoa... dry bitter aftertaste...

0,5l bottle. Hazy golden with thick white head. Aroma of malts, fresh, fruity, citrusy, light honey, caramel. Taste is medium bitter, light caramely sweet with some acidic notes. Medium body, average carbonation, creamy texture. Bit strong for a saison, but although very fresh.

Bottled in 2012 so really not fresh anymore, still far from its "bäst fore" in 2017 though. Pours a clear golden with a medium-high white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is kind of strange with strong candi sugar fighting some peppery esters. It must have been a lot different fresh so don’t let that stop you. Alcohol does show a bit, too. Taste strikes you with burnt sugar or maybe candi sugar again and fruits. Kind of sweet and un-saison if you ask me. Still, not gross or anything. Body is medium, carbonation too. Overall I’ll need to rerate a fresher sample but I’m still a believer that saisons should be less than 5.5% ABV and not contain any excess sugars.
