India Saison is the hoppy, crisp and refreshing result of a north south collaboration. Classic Belgian malts and yeast, pungent Australian new hop varieties and clean Norwegian water. Served chilled and enjoy with cheeses and charcuterie. This product is bottle conditioned and has a slight sediment at the bottom of the bottle.

(bottle) pours hazy dark amber with a creamy, off-white head. Aroma is fruity and spicy up front with tones of white paint, clove, white pepper, vanilla, coriander, passion fruit, pineapple, citrus/orange/lemon/lime and light apple/pear. Undertones of dust, concrete, crackers, herbs and white bread. Really yummy, cross-kitchen nose. The flavour is dry, medium bitter and light acidic. Spicy, fruity, citric, bready, cracker-like and grassy/herbal. The mouthfeel is clean and crisp, yet soft with a light to medium carbonation. Bitter citric, spicy and dusty finish. Near medium bodied.

500 ml bottle. Slightly hazy golden orange body with a big foamy and lacing off-white head. Nice and exotic aroma of citric fruit, berries, spices and flowers. Flavor is refreshing fruity, light malty and feels quite bitter. Unusually flavor, very refreshing and a long and fruity bitter aftertaste. Close to an IPA with nearly just the spicy touch of a Saison. Like it a lot.

From bottle at Beer Palace. Golden, cloudy with a creamy head. Grassy and grapefruity nose. A lot of Nelson Sauvin hoppiness. Nice.

Bottle from De Molen Brewery, Bodegraven, Netherlands, Sat 24th Sptember 2011 consumed Sun 2nd October 2011. Hazy light amber appearance with a large sticky white head. A slight numbing fuzziness, lemony, mmhh.... this is lovely in the mouth. NIcely bitter, lovely hoppiness sticks to gums, I like the furry hoppiness with this beer. A8 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.8

An unclear light amber colour and an off-white head. This one was very bitter, aroma and taste of citrus, particularly grapefruit. (Tap)

Bottle @ Bir&Fud Bottega Roma. This one is really really interesting. Amazing and intense hops aroma: a lot of citric, exotic fruits; a little bit grassy. The taste is even more intense with cereals, citrus, yeast. A perfect combination of a saison and an IPA. But the mouthfeel is quite strange: it fizzies like a bubblegum with an incredible astringent lemony finish The whole thing puts your palate on wild territories, this beer in quite unique.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Batch #671. ABV is 7.5%. Hazy brownish-golden colour, huge white head. Attractive fruity aroma, notes of citrus, gooseberries and tropical fruits, some piney hints too. The flavour is medium sweet and fruity, notes of saison yeast, distinct hops in the finish. Bitter, peppery and dry aftertaste.

Tap @ BBF. Luminescent, unclear orange, small white head - quite pretty. Aroma is fresh and has subtle hops, pineapple, orange peel, burnt caramel, a bit of veggies as well. Just a faint hint of saison-yeast. Taste has fresh hops, saison yeast, high bitterness, stone dry in the finish. Some tropical fruits as well - mango and peach. Pretty good balance.

Bottle, thx to geokkjer. A dense, off-white head of moderate size forms over a cloudy golden body. Lots of peaches on the nose, piney and resiny with some maltyness in the back. Lovely resiny flavor with peaches, some pineapple hints and maltyness in the back. Fine bitterness towards the end. Full-bodied, dry as it should be, and with a certain warmth. A saison in the way I like it, dry and bitter, although not with the authentic hoppyness. 111112
