COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is brewed with 100% Scottish peat smoked whisky malt. This malt generates an intense smokey flavor and aroma. In fact its intensity makes this beer almost undrinkable, unless you blend it with other ingredients. We recommend to use this product to give a balanced smoked note to foods and drinks as oysters, sauces, marinades, sausages, fatty fish, chocolate and dark beer. Improve your world by giving it a hint of smoke.

Bottle. Orange pour. Aroma of strong peat, smoke and malt. Taste of heavy peat, smoke, sweet malt, caramel and ripe fruit. Better than expected, but a bit one dimensional.

Bottle 0.25L, Bbe 25.10.14, batch 879. Golden color, white head. Peated nose, caramel, light malty, hint of apple. Peated taste, sweet, fruity, definitely drinkable. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Bottle. Strong aroma of bitumen, burned electronic, earthy, basement. Taste even more extreme than aroma. This is good stuff, but only for people with specific taste :)

Bottle from the Knutsens, thanks! Amber with a minimal white foam lid. Some foam clinging to the glass. Nice. Aroma has peat, peat, peat, smoke and some fruity notes in the background. Taste is smoky with peat, slight bitterness and no alcohol. Medium body, low carbonation, dry mouth feel. Dry peaty after taste.

One sided but tasty.

25cl bottle pours a clear orange with some creamy, white head. Nose is crayon and burnt tire and rubber band and plastic. Flavor is smoke, malt, some beech wood, salty bacon, very industrial though, plastic and paint. Full bodied, smokey finish.

Bottle at the main DC December gathering. Poured a murky golden color with a white head. Lots of peated smoke in this one, like a super peated whiskey. Strange, I want to hate it, but sipping it made for a pretty enjoyable experience.

Bottle at the DC December Gathering #2. Thanks nimbleprop. Murky yellowish brown with off-white head. Aromas of huge peat and smoke, that’s about it. Tastes of huge peat and smoke, caramel. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

Fairly terrible. More peat than Townsend. Pours amber with decent head. Smokey as hell. Not much balance of any kind. Bottle shared by nimbleprop.

0,25L brygget 10/12, takk Kjetil (BKL 2014). - "Almost Undrinkable" caveat stamp. wasnt’t prepared for a dark honeyblond pour. Massive medicinal peat chlorine in the nose, Lagavulin and Laphroaig turf, over sweetish honeypop malts. Flabby maybe due to age, yet still keeping that balance between chloric peat and sweetish honeybread. Actually drinkable enough, a nice hint of coasts more rugged than the Black Forest.
