This beer is brewed with 100% Scottish peat smoked whisky malt. This malt generates an intense smokey flavor and aroma. In fact its intensity makes this beer almost undrinkable, unless you blend it with other ingredients. We recommend to use this product to give a balanced smoked note to foods and drinks as oysters, sauces, marinades, sausages, fatty fish, chocolate and dark beer. Improve your world by giving it a hint of smoke.

Smell remindes me of when I was young and worked on my Mustang. Warm metal. Let it air for a while and it will sweeten up a bit. Interesting!

Bottle. Cloudy amber beer with a reasonable head. The aroma is like TCP, probably meant to be smokey. The aroma is malty with some roastedness, bitterness and spice but with still that smokey TCP characteristic. Overall a drinkable beer but strange in parts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flaske 0,25l fra Vinmonopolet, Tromsø Langnes. Batch 879. Lysebrun. Klar - men veldig uklar når klumpsedimentene i flaska tar løs. Nesten ikke skum. Kraftig aroma av røkt torv. Heftig. Artig.

bottle at mondial 2014, mtl. cloudy pale yellow greyish pour with a nice off-white head, some retention and lacing. strong peated malts (duh), iron, sweet honeyed and lightly spicy maltiness, some berries, coffee berries, pepper, honey-like sweetness, astringent woodsy notes. average to moderate carbonation, light body - oily and a bit sticky, slightly boozy, harsh grassy-spicy-smoky-peated finish. btw, i do like peated scotchs but this is horrid.

My Bottom Line:
Rubber-scented band aids and floral peat protrusions battle it out in this extreme brewing experiment.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the blond gown.
-The mouthfeel is actually refined for such an experiment. The aromas and flavors are the sole purveyors of nastiness.
-If you love Lagavulin-like flavors, you might like this. If you don’t, you might feel like throwing up.
-Effervescence helps the sipping.
-What the saying of ’too much of a good thing’ yadda yadda?

Bottle at Brew Beers and Ciders, Bangkok. Poured a hazy medium amber with a bubbly white head and a little lace. The aroma is 100% earthy, smoked peat, medicinal. The flavour is rich earthy peat medicinal with a neutral veggie mineral palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

incredible aroma, tons of peat, burned rubber, smoky, little bit fruity too, not very pleasant but incredible; golden hazy with white foam; medium bitterness, lightly sour and sweet, bitterness rather from malts than hops; medium body, quite thick feel, average carbonation, long bitter and astringent finish Overall: really interesting with incredible aroma, not very drinkable though, a sipper

UPDATED: JUN 3, 2014 Butelka 0.25 L.
W tle odrobina jasnych słodów i lekko estrowe - owocowe, cytrusowe słodkie. Ciekawy aromat, intryguje i zachęca bardziej niż odrzuca.
Czuć trochę chmielu i odrobinę alkoholu.

Bottle from Meilby, thank you Kenni! Orange to pale amber, hazy color. Aroma is intensive smoked, bacon, peat, wood fire, coal. Flavor is malty, sweet, also very intensive smoked with wood fire, heavy smoked bacon, whiskey, hints of fruits, roasty smoked bitter finish. Very good and for sure easy drinkable.
