3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rating #500! Bottle. Purs really hazy dark orange with small white head and big chunks of yeast. Aroma is bland, slight cat-pis, malt, old hops, bread, slight candy. Taste is sweet and malty, some liquorice, dry medium bitter finish. Rather full body and creamy carbonation. Think this one was off..

the aroma is hoppy and, a little bit, fruity with some hints of pine, lemon and spicy herbs... the taste is rough, hoppy and fruity, with notes of pine needles, spicy grasses, garden fruits and black currant... the aftertaste is dry, bitter and spicy...

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle shared on the beach. Slight hazy amber with short lasting off white head. Strong citrus aroma but also a quite citrus-like taste with fruity tartness. Pine, dank hops, nice sweet nutty malts underneath, quite sweet but not overpowering the nice hops. Some fresh aromatic Italian herbs and light Indian spices towards the finish. Medium to full bodied. Lovely.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
[Draught at Brewberry Bar, Paris, May 19] 19th rating of my Paris/Amsterdam trip. Pours a deep copper with an average size semi-lasting frothy off-white head. Decent amount of lacing. Aroma: Doesn’t smell as "big" as I expected. It’s fruity and hoppy along with caramel malt and a hint of herbs. Flavour is mainly tropical fruity and hoppy along with a touch of alcohol and a long semi-big bitter finish. Like I said, there’s alcohol but it’s fairly well hidden considering the abv. Medium bodied. Not as good as expected but still pretty good.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
500cl bottle served in a pint glass. Pours a hazy orange colour with plenty of floaties. Nice foamy white head but does not last. Aroma is citrusy hop aromas - nice summery, crisp notes. Taste initially is overwhelmingly sweet with (comparatively) little hop presence. Once you become accustomed to the initial sweetness you begin to appreciate the subtle nuances and the wonderful balance. 100 IBUS? You would never guess it. I like bitterness and hops but this manages to be less extreme than my usual choice and still manages to excel. A full body and a clearly evident ABV all combine to make a massive beer that makes you want more.

500ml bottle @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, May 15, courtesy of Paolo. Caramel / fruity hop aroma. Taste is concentrated hops with a lovely tropical fruit character. Strong and balanced taste. Nogne can really do no wrong.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Sensoric. Deep copper, medium hazy with medium, light brown head. Godd lacing. Poor head retention. Nice sweet, ripened fruits aroma, strong caramel notes, medium citrus hops aroma. Taste is sweet, caramel, with nice medium to high bitter notes, which appears from the middle of degustation. Full body, soft carbonation, oily and sticky texture, finish is medium bitter. In general caramel loaded DIPA with nice hoppy notes, but not perfectly balanced. It could be more hoppier. Highly drinkable.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nose: Hops, coriander and white pepper.
Taste & palate: Rich, creamy, lots of spicy, bitter hops which is nicely balanced by the (sweet) alcohol and richness. Very long, spicy hops aftertaste.
Conclusion: Rich, bitter, balanced, massive. But just a bit one-dimensional. Would love to revisit this after 3-5 years of bottle ageing.
