COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Asian Pale Ale is a light and refreshing ale. It has generous amounts of lemongrass, added late in the brewing process to ensure that we capture its light, crisp and tangy aromas. This beer work well as a thirst quenching beverage, as well as paired with asian food, salads and light meat dishes. We recommend to pour cautiously to leave the natural sediments behind. Recommended serving temperature 8 deg C / 47 deg F. Ingredients: Malted barley, malted wheat, hops, lemongrass, English ale yeast and our local Grimstad water. Recommended serving temperature 8 deg C / 47 deg F

Bottle batch 1138. Pours light golden with a finger thick airy head. Aroma is hoppy pine and resin, with whiffs of citrus and grass, as well as some metallic notes. Medium body with soft carbonation. Flavour follows with bitter with hoppy pine and resin, notes of grape fruit, some tropical peach and lychee as well as some grassy metallic notes.

Bottle. Pours darker golden in color with a whitish head. Floral and citrus fruits mixed with green herbal notes in aroma. Lemony notes, minerals and grassyness in taste. Herbs and bit of light spicyness in finish. I do like the quite soft bitterness in this brew.

Draught. Pale amber, rather hazy beer. Thin creamy head. Very fresh, zesty lemongrass aroma. Sweeter, slightly oo perfumy hop aromas are milder. Balancing touch of dry/grainy base malt. Dry, crisp malt taste, quite strong hop flavor. Moderate bitterness is very clean. Base malty, slightly citrus fruity aftertaste. Light body, lively carbonation. This simple pale ale is well balanced and quite sessionable.

On tap at Kaapse Brouwers. Hazy light golden-orange with a white head, nicely served in a Nøgne Ø pint glass! The aroma has plenty of lemongrass, some citrus fruits, pine, light malts. The flavour is smooth lemongrass, pine, medium bitterness, low carbonation. The body is very light but I was expecting such. I like it a lot, great thirst-quencher.

Hazy gold - fluffy head. Grapefruit, resin, very bitter fruit - quite to my liking. The lemongrass flavor would be great with Asian food. Very refreshing.

Flaske 500ml fra Meny Oslo City. Gyldenbrungul. Pent luftig skum som daler sakte. Uklar. Forsiktig syrlig fruktaroma. Sitron. Smaken det samme. Blir litt tørr i avslutninga. Et friskt & godt sommerøl. Litt bunnfall igjen i flaska.
