COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Asian Pale Ale is a light and refreshing ale. It has generous amounts of lemongrass, added late in the brewing process to ensure that we capture its light, crisp and tangy aromas. This beer work well as a thirst quenching beverage, as well as paired with asian food, salads and light meat dishes. We recommend to pour cautiously to leave the natural sediments behind. Recommended serving temperature 8 deg C / 47 deg F. Ingredients: Malted barley, malted wheat, hops, lemongrass, English ale yeast and our local Grimstad water. Recommended serving temperature 8 deg C / 47 deg F

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - hazy golden with a thin head. Nose - lime, lemon grass and something a bit sweeter, such as tropical fruit. Taste - more lime but more in the guise of marmalade. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly balanced finish, even if it was sweeter than expected. Overall - I’d be picky if I said I didn’t like it because it was a bit too sweet, as it is nice.

Cruzer (96) - St. Albert, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 27, 2015
Pours cloudy dark yellow, lots of chunks in it (I poured way too fast, should know Nogne has lots of sediment in their beers) aroma of hops and yeast, flavor of slight lemongrass and hops, though I think there should of been more lemongrass flavor, the hoppiness and bitter tones overpower. Pretty good for a session IPA though.
