50cl bottle. Batch 1170. Brewed 2014-04-28. Best before 2015-04-28. Dark hazy orange colour with a big white foamy head. Aroma is moderately hoppy with notes of malts, bread and grass. Flavour is surprisingly complex. Lots of malts but also bread, citrus, grass and some hops. Short aftertaste.

Nydelig blanding av en kompleks, smaksrik ale og en lett og forfriskende pils. Supert for kos. Leskende, perfekt for sommer. Bør også kunne passe bra til lett mat.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy dark amber with half inch head. Strong herbal medicine scent. Flàvour is even stronger. Like drinking perfume. How many flowers are in here? Very weird floral hop medicine beer. Am i supposed to feel better? Not bad jist weird.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma of citrus and zest. Golden orange pour with a foamy off white head. I’m fine with sediment but this had huuuge yeast chunks. Had to strain it so it didn’t look absolutely gross. Otherwise, a great pale ale. Has a nice crisp citrus bite with a spicy lemongrass finish. Other notes included hay, grass, zest, spices, etc.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle poured into a fluted glass pours a slightly cloudy golden orange color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is lemon and orange zest with some hints of grass and spice. Taste is a citrus hop bitterness with a light orange zest tartness and a grainy malt sweetness, Light bodied with good carbonation that tickles the palate. A nicely balanced and tasty session IPA that is a sure delight.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
0,5L can from Rema 1000 - Pours a hazy golden red. Aroma of citrus, lemonpeel, oranges. Flavor-wise this beer is crisp and refreshing with flavors of light caramel, lemongrass, herbs and spices. I’d say its a good start to Nøgne Ø’s canning, but this wasn’t the best i’ve tried from Nøgne.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a bright matte orange with a thin off white head that dies down. Tons of particulate in the body with a hazy appearnace. The aroma is citrus laced, hoppy, a bit floral and perfumy with tons of light spice and ester notes. Mild toasted bready malts, biscuit notes, caramel and toasted wheat. Crisp, tart, citrus accented and well balanced overall. Light to medium bitterness on the finish with lingering citrus tartness.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tea, grass, lime, and overall a green hoppy appeal. Which is great! Light body but it matches the abv. In fact, quite a good mouth feel for the alcohol. Not super bitter, and quite a string yet not so lasting carbonation. Tasty brew. The large Nogne O bottles are perfect for this kind of brew. Spring time! (50cl bottle from Saveur Bière)
