0,5 bottle Coop mega Malda. Hazy orange with small white head. Nose is barn, fruity and some mild hops. Flavour is hints of berries and a nice bitterness that lasts. Nice hoppy finish on this one. A nice grocery shop beer for Norway

Bottle. Golden beer with a strong white head. The aroma is dryly hopped, and the flavour is very bitter with a lot of hops and dryness. Overall a nice very dry beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear, golden body crowned by a large, bubbly and creamy head. Gentle aroma with low fruityness and english hops. Taste is definitely bitter. Some subdued maltyness and a dry and bitter finish. Light bodied with medium to high carbonation.

[Thanks to Cunningham]. 50cl bottle. Orange colour with an off-white head with good lacing and lasting. Aroma is light hoppy, floral notes, malty and hay notes. Flavor has a decent bitterness with a good duration, orange and citrus notes. Dry and bittery final.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2013 Pours a clear golden colour with a high white head, which fades fairly quickly. The remaining head is somewhat creamy and leaves slight lacing. The aroma is very heavy on the hops, and has hints of wood and resin, there’s also some cereal-like attributes to it. The taste is, as the name implies, bitter. Tastes a bit porridge-like too. The beer is light bodied, and the carbonation is fairly soft. The aftertaste is slightly astringent, and lasts for quite some time, it’s a bit cardboard-like as well. Ugh, as the beer warmed up, it developed a vomit-like taste. The beer looks very promising, but unfortunately it fails to deliver. The taste of butyric acid eventually made it undrinkable to me. Won’t buy again.

50 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 10.07.2009
Aroma is hoppy with citrus, fruity notes and hints of resin. Flavour has pine needles, grapefruit, hops, some exotic fruits and resin. I wonder how Nøgne can make Goldings taste so good?
