COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: Originally launced as bottle conditioned Kos på Groos as a festival beer for the Skral rock/pop festival in 2008. Spring 2009 it was relaunched as Blonde, tap only. For the Free Port Days in Kristiansand June 2009 it was sold bottle conditioned once more, this time with an extra addition of Cascade hops, under the name Porto Franco. Released on bottle as Blonde January 2011.

On the label of Kos på Groos: Kos På Groos nytes best avkjølt i sola mens man opplever god musikk.

On the label of Porto Franco: Øl har lange tradisjoner til sjøs.

English:Blonde Ale is refreshing anytime, but especially after working outside om a hot summer day.Serve at 6 degrees C and pair with seafood and other light meals. Nøgne Ø ales are bottle conditioned, so pour carefully if you do not want to disturb the yeast sediments in the bottle.

ElDesmadre (1475) - Mikołów, POLAND - JUL 29, 2013
Bottle, traded with Cunningham. Light, crisp and very high on aroma. A coriander-like yeasty spiciness merges with fruity notes of mandarine, apricot and peach, followed by honeyish hints. The coriander spiciness and citrusy notes coupled with the light body invoke some reminiscences of a witbier while drinking. It finishes with a strong, grapefruity bitterness and releases some hints of camomile as it warms. Very good!

Hazy orange beer with a huge head dissolving to a permanent layer with lacing. Aromas of of grainy malts, belgian yeast and some crisp fruitiness. Taste is mostly malty and grainy, almost like a pils with some belgian yeastiness. As it warms up, some citric fruity flavors come out. Quite thin body with little to moderate bitterness in the finish. Pouring in the yeast makes the beer completely opaque and adds a bit tastiness, but brings a slight metallic sidenote.
