På fat. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, farinsocker, brända toner samt uns av choklad och vanilj. Lätt kropp med Stout känsla. Lätt kolsyrad och beska.

11.06.2013, 0,5l bottle @ home: Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly watery and roasted, dark malts, caramel, chocolate, grass, nuts. Taste is kind of neutral, dark malts, burnt caramel, chocolate, coffee, grass. Medium bitterness. Kind of boring really.

This one has a chocolate cherry aroma and is an amber color with an off-white head. The flavor is a coffee with slight bitter cherry finish. it flows across the palate with a very vesperous (high carbonation) feeling. Overall another fine beer from Nøgne ø.

50cl bottle poured into a pint glass. Dark amber brown with a lot of off-white head. Aroma is chocolate and cherries. Flavor is the same with notes of coffee. Highly carbonated. Finishes bitter with cherry nuances. Good brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tastes of yeasty roasted malts, caramel and cereal with a little spice and some hops. Not my favourite class of beer but this was pretty good.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 17 May 2013) Dark brown colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark rye bread, roasted malt, caramel and cereal. Malty, roasted taste with notes of roasted malt, cereal, dark rye bread, dried fruit and a gentle spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Well balanced and quite tasty. Nice one.

Bottle. Cloudy fairly light brown beer with a good strong off brown head. The aroma is roasted with some burnt maltyness. The flavour is discernibly bitter and roasted with a malty and mildly yeasty finish. Overall a nice roasted beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle from Ultra. Medium tan head with good lacing, fades quickly. Reddish brown body. Modest aroma of bread and chocolate malt. Quite sweet, easily drinkable.

Bottle from an Oslo supermarket. Poured a cloudy medium brown with a frothy off white head. The aroma is dry and dusty leading to a medium bitter, malty, nutty flavour. Not as good as I expected but far from being a bad beer.
