A dark brown English ale, in which classic English malts meet the spicy hoppiness of the new world. Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F. Goes very well with ‘pub grub.’

Ingredients: Maris Otter, wheat, chocolate, brown, amber, and caramel malt; Crystal hops; English ale yeast, and our local Grimstad water.

working through my backlog nogne ticks, bottle pours brown with medium beige head. Low to average carbonation. Aromas were biscuit, chocolate, fig, and coffee. Flavor is caramel and other brown toasty malt, cocoa, plums, and grain. Enjoyable brown ale from the Nordic brewery.

Brown, medium sized tan head. Nose is bready malts, some toastiness. Taste is similar to the nose, but with some roasty-nutty bitterness and acidity in the finish. Oily to watery mouthfeel, thin to medium body, fairly smooth carbonation. Very easy to drink.

Mørk farge med ettersmak av kaffe og sjokolade. Ved helling til glass gir den en god skumtopp. Gjennomsnittlig kullsyre
