Chestnut color with a off white head. The taste is sweet with a nice full body. Has a hoppy bitter palate. Nice.

(Bottle 50 cl) Very dark ruby red colour, clear and pretty indeed. Very small head and almost no carbonation - almost English cask appearance. Huge sediment though. A slight indefinable and not completely pleasant nose - roasted somehow. Very malty flavours, roasted malt - light sweetish, soft and pleasant mouthfeel. An incredibly flavourful beer for it’s rather small body. 110705

Dark nut brown, small creamy off-white head. Smokey, roasted, chocolaty nose. Roasted, a bit watery, chocolaty, not very brown ale -like, more like some of the Nögne Ö’s stouts.

Poured a darker than average brown. Had a nice frothy beige head that fell to a ring on the top center of the beer and stayed the duration. Smell is just slightly roasty, not too much coming through here. Taste is nice. Decent medium bodied mouthfeel with a good amount of cocoa coming through as well. A nice solid brown ale. A little bigger tasting than your typical brown.

16.9oz, no date. Pours a clear dark amber brown with a one finger beige head that fades to a thin film rather quickly. Aroma has some roasted and toasted malts, light burnt plastic, and not really anything else. Flavor had a bit of earth in addition to all the aromas. The roasted malts took the forefront though. There was a bit of caramel malt sweetness, though not much. The finish was kinda woody and dry roasted malts. Low carbonation with a medium body. Burps burnt plastic. This was not a fantastic beer.

50cl bottle: Thanks to Yngwar. Pours dark brown with a off white bubbly head. Nose & taste is sweet & dusty of nuts & caramel. A bit thin palate. Ok!

500 ml bottle. Deep brown color, tan head. Chocolaty aroma with some roasted malt. The chocolate also dominates the flavor. Smooth mouthfeel. Not bad, but somehow I expected more complexity.
