COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Red-brown in appearance with a thick off-white head. Aroma of mild Belgian yeast, malt, fruit, banana and biscuit, quite a roasted malt character which is complimented by the mix of spice and nuts. The taste has some caramel, dark fruits and nuts. All in all this beer has a mild bitterness to it both in the middle and in the after-taste, slight burnt nutty finish.

Bottle from a Prague bottle shop. Poured a clear dark reddish brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is nutty malt, light yeast, light medicinal. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, watery, malt, mineral, liqourice palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

10/9/7/11/8/8

Pours a hazy brown with no head. The aromas are roasted coffee, dried fruits, and malt. The taste is moderately bitter and sweet, and just slightly sourish tart. The mouthfeel is light and a bit thin, and well carbonated. This beer isn’t all that good on its own, but it has a fantastic ability to pair well with pretty much anything you’re eating.

50cl bottle from Vinmonopolet Kiellandsplass, Oslo. Pours hazy dark brown with a small, tan head. Mild malty aroma with some roasty notes, caramel, dark fruits and hints of fruits and Belgian yeast. Medium sweet with pleasant, but quite mild flavours. Some bitterness in the finish. Nothing wrong, but a bit anonymous. Pretty sure it would work well to food.
