3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 NikkTwist (965) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Draft at Farmers Cabinet. Hazy brown pour. Slim tan foamy head. Sour brown fruit. Cigarettes. Prunes. Hemp. Burlap. Bark. Brown sugar - but more sour, dry and smoky than sweet. Less complicated than other Haand beers but nice and solid.

Aroma was typical brown ale. Smoked leaves, caramel, and pumpkin seed. Poured brun with white lacing. Tasted like a brown ale. Brown sugar, roasted caramel and a slight pine hop. Very light in the mouth and taste. Forgettable.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 RichardGretton (4028) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 28, 2013
Bottle. Blackish brown beer with a light head. The aroma is roasted with some chocolatyness, the flavour is much the same with a maltyness that goes with with the roasted and chocolate aspects of the beer. Overall a nice roasted beer, good bitterness at the finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 NBird (151) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAY 26, 2013
Gusher. Dark brown with big head in a wide tulip glass. Smells.. Roasted malts, woody nuts, candy and maybe a hint of cocoa. Tastes.. Very malty and nutty and candy.. seems very well balanced. Not bold, but a cruisy brown.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Foffern (772) - Bodø, NORWAY - APR 28, 2013
Bottle at Naboen, Bergen. Pours an unclear brown colour with a small beige creamy head. Aroma of dried fruit, leather, chocolate, some coffee and some nice roasted tones. Some of the same stuff in the flavour but is more malty with wood and nuts. Balanced and nice. Has a slick mouth feel, and a light bitterness. An incredibly balanced and easy-drinking dark Belgian ale.

Brun i färgen, beige skum. Doftar fullkornsbröd, lite syrligt, jäst, milda pepparkakor. Smakar bröd, malt, bittert, torr avslutning.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Bathory (361) - Bryne, NORWAY - JAN 14, 2013
Pours a brown colour with a one-finger tan head. Aroma of caramel, yeast and some mild nutty notes. Flavour is a bit boring to me, caramel, nuts, leaves and some dough maybe. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel and soft carbonation. An okey beer, but a bit boring
