500ml bottle, batch 491, hazy dark brown-mohagany hue, with a thick frothy beige head, faint chocolate powder, yeasty, cookie dough nose with some light dried dark fruits of raisins, dates, figs, with some brown sugar, toasted, caramelized, biscuity malt, bran muffin accents in the aroma follows through on a medium-modied palate with a yeasty, chocolatey, fruity characert with some chocolate, toasted, biscuity malt, cookie dough, light acidic wineyness, black coffee flavours, with a mild floral leafy, grassy hop undertone, and some dried date, fig, raisin, light roasted coffee bean notes, leading towards a yeasty, fruity, dried date, fig, dark chocolate, black coffee, lingering leafy hop bitterness finish.

Appearance : Deep brown with a small creamy head. Light lacing.
Aroma : Butterscotch with roasted malt and caramel. quite malty with light hops. Hops are more earthy and a bit floral. Light belgian yeast too. A little bit nutty. Some fruits.
Taste : Overcooked caramel with light butterscotch. Light bitterness that comes from the light hops as well as the caramelized malts.Notes of toffee. Earthy and a bit mineral. Finish has light notes of belgian yeast with light nutty notes.
Overall : Soft carbonation, nice mouthfeel. Nothing outstanding. a bit too much butterscotch. Quite drinkable. Nose gets a bit better with time. Yeast shines thru a bit more. Nice complexity on nose.
