Bottle: The aroma consists of soap, old lady perfume, and juniper berries. I’m not a fan of the aroma at all. It pours a dark cloudy orange with lots of sediment with a small white head. The flavor starts with yeast and apples. The finish is lightly soapy with some juniper berries. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle. Pours golden orange with a white head. Herbs, flowers, and juniper berries in the aroma with a nice honey sweetness. The flavor has hooney, fresh flowers, juniper berries, and a yeasty spicy character. Enjoyable.

I actually liked this strange brew. It is an odd concoction that I welcomed after feeling that I have tasted most everything under the sun at this point. The smell and taste of honey is what comes to mind, but there is depth and complexity underneath that as well.

Don’t have high expectations of this beer...as with most beers that are full of hippie forest twigs...but for the sake of whathaveyou, here we are. Pours opaque orange with a thin frothy topping. Nose was at first predominately yeasty with slight banana, cobweb, and a touch of spice. After a little while it became a vivid concoction of baby powder and old women perfume. In Fact, within a few minutes, all i could smell was baby powder and powdery floral geriatric winds. Body is chunky and thick like pudding..in fact, it tastes a bit of tapioca pudding, sprinkled with baby powder. The yeast profile dominates, no doubt...the spices aren’t really that forward, though they are there and possibly the secret ingredient of baby powder, ...but very surprisingly, they are quite complimenting with the yeast here...they all fit together quite nicely to form a geriatric whole or hole. Ew. nevermind.. There’s almost a eucalyptus-like mentholated heat in the finish, no doubt an effect of the spices..but it actually cools the heat from the alcohol, hiding it well. Overall, its very belgian-yeast dominated and full of baby powder and memories of grandma, something I usually steer clear of, but it’s not too bad an effort.

Pours a transparent deep bronze golden with a stringy-lacing froth of white head. Has a unique floral honey and juniper nose with some blueberry and heather notes. Starts with pretty good viscosity and sweet caramel honey character with a decent floral herbal berry balance before a slightly drier semi-tart finish. A pretty good interpretation of the style and should age well with the amount of alcohol.

Bottle from Knightly Spirits. This pours a murky, orange-gold color with a lot of white yeasty particles floating in the body. Coating lace. The aroma is effervescent of sweet honey, grapes, and other fruits. Flavors are sweet all around, almost cloyingly: more honey, bark, white grapes; herbal, yet fruity. Medium body and lively carbonation. Besides the almost overly-sweet body of this beer, it was an interesting and satisfying drink.

Pours hazy amber color with minimal off white head. Fruity aroma with a weird smell I can’t describe. Sweet flavor of fruits, wheat and honey with some alcohol coming through. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Not bad, but not really my thing.

A murky orange color beer with a creamy white head. An intriguing mild herbal aroma with a saline character. Perhaps the sea wormwood? I’m not familiar with that variety. Definite juniper in the body and i think main flavor on the finish is the heather. A wonderful beer.

Poured a medium and hazy amber color with a large sized off white head. Lots of small suspended particles. Aromas of yeast, cloves, and just overall herbalness. Tastes of the same herbalness, some berries, honey, and spices. Lighter alcohol in the finish, but overall well hidden.
