3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle courtesy of the Nøgne Ø during the homebrewers day. It was not a geyser as the bottle picture it. I was a bit disappointed. The aromas promise the sourness of the brett, but the flavor is rather flat. Some faint hops. A really great story behind the brew though. It’s a great ale for people who’s not accustomed to sour ales, and it’s a great thirst quencher!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared @ Dean’s aged pale lager tasting, courtesy of dEnk. Pours a hazy golden beer with big white head on top. Aroma has massive Brett, tartness and fruityness. Flavor has some tart and sour touches to it, very well balanced and quite fruity as well actually. Short, crisp tarty aftertaste. Great palate cleanser during a tasting, good beer in general as well.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Flaske 0,5l fra Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. Batch 821. Drukket i selskap med Kristoffer 29 Aug 13. Tilløp til geysir ved åpningen. Var forberedt gjennom teksten på flaska. Aprikosfarget. Høyt luftig skum som varer. Uklar. Aromaen er syrlig frukt. Smaken likeså. Mye bitterhet. Gjennomgående undertone av gjær.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I’m almost a bit disappointed, the Geyser doesn’t gush at all! It pours a very hazy, yellow to golden body with a huge, creamy, off-white head that leaves big patches of foam on the glass. The head is very long-lived, and stays thick and rocky until the glass is empty. Quite crisp aroma of pale malts, fruits, slightly fermented apples and gentle traces of funk. There is hardly any sweetness in the taste, it’s moderate acidic, light sour and the bone dry finish is moderate to light bitter. Moderate flavours, again lots of apple, some lemon and hints of barnyard. A bit too thin and watery mouthfeel, but it’s very crisp and refreshing.

Gulbrun tåkete med høyt hvitt skum. Sure sokker er grei beskrivelse av denne, men malt, sitron og gjær luktes også. Litt sur, bitter humle i smak. Medium bitter, mye kullsyre

Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. A gusher! Half landed on the table. Hence. Duh duh derrrrr a large, rocky head. Very tasty. Crisp sour hops. Like a wheaty, tangy, prickled pear. Nice.
