Hops- the best there is in this world! Well, almost. This is a hop driven beer. A beer where it is all about hops. But what kind of hops? We just couldn’t decide which, and used hops from all over the world; England, Slovenia, New Zealand, Czech Republic, USA, Germany and Australia. A total of 13 different types of hops. It does not get better than this!

As good as Norwegian supermarket beers get. Great hop aroma of citrus, pine and resin. Nice decent bitterness, medium bodies, not much sweetness. Very good beer considering the ABV. If it had a little less carbonation, it almost compares to a Halcyon.

Flaske 0,5l fra ICA Stakkevollan. Batch 996-C. Drukket hjemme 4 Okt 13. Mørk aprikosfarget. Veldig høyt luftig skum som varer. Mye lacing. Veldig uklar. God fruktaroma. Plommer & fersken. Smaken det samme. Mye frukt. Blir litt tørr i avslutninga. Nok et ypperlig butikkøl.

Murky light brown beer which won’t stop foaming. Foamed out from the bottle for minutes. Not very fruity aroma and neither tastewise. Medium body. Pretty one dimensional considering the variety of hops. A disappointment. Unfortunately it seems that my review wasn’t saved so this is based on my memory.

Light hazy orange body with medium short-lasting head. Aroma has tropical notes, floral, mango, citrus, pineapple, little bit grassy, honey. Taste is highly earthy grassy medium to high bitterness right upfront with medium malty sweet background. Body is dry, crisp, full with medium carbonation.

Backlog fra Cardinals crazy juleølsmaking. Jeg ticket alle de øllene, men så at de da ikke kom med på Statistikk, så nå blir det sånn ca...

Hazy light amber, a lot of random hop notes - citrus, papaya, wood, moss - just a little bit of everything. Quite refreshing, mellow bitterness, creamy malts....let’s that bizarre melange of hops shine through.

Keg at Beergeek. Cheers Ruslan & Olga. Pours cloudy amber with some suspended yeast. Enticing fruity aroma. Peachy. Juicy fruit chewing gum. Citrus bitterness too finish. The malty caramel is minimised and makes way for a flood of fruity hop character. delicious.

Bottle, from my local Meny. Pours a lively cloudy amber, under a tall coarse offwhite head. Tropical-fruity hop aroma in the lead, with some earthy, grassy and minty tones. Medium body, juicy mouthfeel. Dry, bready malt flavor. Bold, light edgy bitterness. The fruity hop flavors shine through. Pine, earth, grass and spices is lurking under. Lot of taste and character here, for a 4,5% ale.

Bottle: Served in a shaker glass: Batch 1035: Medium sized fluffy white foamy head on top of a deep hazy orange colored beer. The aroma is hop in all the way, hop herbs, hop flowers, hop fruit, floral hops and crisp mashed, stamped abd cut hops... Delicious! Flavour has again all those different hop tones as in the aroma, but also a smooth bitterness, plants, malts, grass and some chalk. Also very delicious! Aftertaste is bitter, hoppy, floral, herbal, malty and some hay/yeast tones. Low carbo, light watery mouthfeel, medium to fuller bodied and a light creamy texture. Delicious! Balanced! Easy drinkable!
