4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle 500ml from shop in Norway. Nice pale cloudy color with frothy white head. Aroma citrusy, earthy with caramel tones. Taste full, nice malty, then best citruses and in the end comes nice bitterness. Maybe best beer I’ve drunk.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle, bb 1/16. One inch of beer, 5 of head. Aroma dominated by tropical fruit - mango, passionfruit, guava- also some vague citrus, grass, peppery herbs. Light bodied. Lots of fruit and a slightly harsh, weedy and peppery bitterness. I guess it didn’t travel. Poor.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Dark golden, hazy, medium head. Fruity citrus aroma, somehow messy. I do not see any sense in adding 13 hops, unless you clean up your store and do not want to waste anything. Fruity taste with buttery notes. Low - medium bitterness, fruity aftertaste leaving oily buttery layer in mouth. No.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle @Meny. Aroma of the usual suspects; tropical fruit salad, fruity orange, citrus and orange peel. Golden/amber, hazy, white medium head. Light sweetness, medium bitterness, tastes of citrus, tropical fruits, orange, hints of something piney. Light body, average carbonation, bitter aftertaste. Nice fresh hoppy pale ale!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
hazy golden to amber colour with a large white head. Pine, grapefruit and grassy tones in aroma that initially is quite strong but gradually mellows out. Lots of fresh citrus fruits.
Mild spiciness in the taste and the bitterness and carbonation is spot on.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20

Bottle at home. Pours pale golden, with a white head. Aroma of hops, floral, tropical, light malts, light perfume notes. Taste is foral, hopward, nice malt base, orange peel slighty bitter. Good drinkability. Fresh!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A very nice IPA. Tons of different hop characteristics here, but mostly the citrus and pine varieties. The bitterness is surprisingly muted.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Cloudy, yellow towards amber colour, two-finger head in the glass. This is a beer for hop-heads. Nøgne Ø brewery makes no compromises (so far), and their brewmaster is at his best in this brew, using no less than 13 (!) different hops in this pale ale. Aroma is all hops. Citrus, grapefruit and tropical fruits dominates along with hints of bubblegum. Trying to find traces of malts in the taste, but not. It’s bitter and dry, almost tart in the mouth. Not a typical APA in my opinion, but a refreshing treat to yourself anytime.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Rating 1125 09.06.2014 - Bottle from Sherbrooke. 500mL Golden pour with a bubbly, lasting white foam. Aroma is mild sweet citrus, lots of earthy and spicy aromas oozing out of this. Taste is a mini of citrusy sweetness, tempered by an explosion of noble hoppy bitterness, drying out the finish, but leaving the palate demanding another sip. Balanced and exquisite.
