Hops- the best there is in this world! Well, almost. This is a hop driven beer. A beer where it is all about hops. But what kind of hops? We just couldn’t decide which, and used hops from all over the world; England, Slovenia, New Zealand, Czech Republic, USA, Germany and Australia. A total of 13 different types of hops. It does not get better than this!

Golden with a white head - Good fruity hop aroma - Good malt to support a very good hop flavour with fruits and bitterness - Good hop finish that is frutiy and somewhat dry in the end - This was good

Light amber with big fluffy unstable off white head. Massive hops with tropical fruits, tangerine, lime, flowery and light resin. Then a light malty body with a touch of nuts and caramel, but the whole ale is quite thin and dry and the malt backbone takes a backseat. Therefore mainly bitter and slight tartness and the sweetness is very light. Light to medium bodied with quite a lot of carbonation. Pretty nice stuff for the abv.

50 cl. bottle split by 3 @ “Memorabel Tastingkje”. Thanks to tderoeck! Average creamy off-white head. Good lacing, lightly cloudy amber. Nose is typical pine resin & grapefruit peel hops mixed with some herbal notes (les usual) touch more malt presence, cereal. Taste is touch sugar, bread, cereal + 50/50 herbal + pine & grapefruit peel hops, herbal lingers more in the finish, faint vanilla upfront. Medium body, touch malt feel, good carbonation. Standard fare but well-done and definitely satisfactory.

Aroma: citric, resin, wood, flowers; Appearance: pale urine, minimal head; Taste: medium bitterness, medium sourness; Palate: astringent finish, soft carbonation, slick texture, medium body Atypical Pale Ale, without typical alcohol content it still tastes good though different :-)

BOTTLE 50CL from Cunningham. Thanks, Henrik. Look: hazy amber, light tan frothy head. Aroma: delicate hops, not too intense, tropical fruit, flowers, no resin, a touch of citrus. Taste: a strange acidic bite at the start, despite the low carbonation, tropical, fruit, low-to-moderate bitter finish. medium body. Nice, but not earth shattering.

Bottle at home (batch nr 1035, bottled 19-09-13). Pours a hazy orange with an off-white head. Aroma is floral, fruity hops, some malts. Fruity hoppy taste, peach, grapefruit, malts, bitter hoppy aftertaste. Very nice.

500mL bottle batch 1066-A best before 06-11-14. Guess I should've paid attention to the date (that isn't always on bottles) before buying it at Sherbrooke AFTER the best before date. Cloudy orange with a bunch of suspended particles. Still a good amount of tropical fruit, pine, and citrus aroma. Taste is sweet with a hearty bitterness. A bit watery.
