Hops- the best there is in this world! Well, almost. This is a hop driven beer. A beer where it is all about hops. But what kind of hops? We just couldn’t decide which, and used hops from all over the world; England, Slovenia, New Zealand, Czech Republic, USA, Germany and Australia. A total of 13 different types of hops. It does not get better than this!

BOTTLE 50CL from Cunningham. Thanks, Henrik. Look: hazy amber, light tan frothy head. Aroma: delicate hops, not too intense, tropical fruit, flowers, no resin, a touch of citrus. Taste: a strange acidic bite at the start, despite the low carbonation, tropical, fruit, low-to-moderate bitter finish. medium body. Nice, but not earth shattering.

Bottle at home (batch nr 1035, bottled 19-09-13). Pours a hazy orange with an off-white head. Aroma is floral, fruity hops, some malts. Fruity hoppy taste, peach, grapefruit, malts, bitter hoppy aftertaste. Very nice.

500mL bottle batch 1066-A best before 06-11-14. Guess I should've paid attention to the date (that isn't always on bottles) before buying it at Sherbrooke AFTER the best before date. Cloudy orange with a bunch of suspended particles. Still a good amount of tropical fruit, pine, and citrus aroma. Taste is sweet with a hearty bitterness. A bit watery.

Fruits, citrus, grass, and a hint of caramel and pine. Amber with a off white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Light to medium body with a average carbonation. Bitter and dry finish. Overall a really nice APA, refreshing and easy drinkable.

Bottle from K-Supermarket Kamppi, Helsinki. Pours hazy amber with a little white head with good retention. The aroma displays grass, citrus fruits and some pine, seems as varied as the abundant hop selection suggests. Taste is richly fruity with moderate to prominent hop bitterness. The palate is light to medium bodied, slick and drinkable with an average carbonation. Quality APA; low abv but you could not tell from the taste. Regrettably expensive, at least in Finland.

A veritable flurry of hoppy tastes interrelate in this brew. Heavily carbonated, a nice head and a strong, full taste makes this beer a winner in the class of aggressively hopped pale ales.

Uklar kobber med høyt skum som varer. Tykk munnfølelse. Lang og god ettersmak med fine bittertoner.

Bottle, shared with Robbie. Very hazy medium gold, fine sediment at the end. Peach and melon, pale malts, moderate bitterness. It does the job.

Wischylini (210) - Grimstad, NORWAY - JUL 14, 2014
Pours a hazy orange with barely any head. The aroma is dominated by hops, but the blend of 13 different hops don’t leave room for nuances. Other aromas are hay, resin, yeast, and cookies. Taste is bitter and dry. The mouthfeel is thick, almost syrupy, and the beer is almost flat.
