COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hops- the best there is in this world! Well, almost. This is a hop driven beer. A beer where it is all about hops. But what kind of hops? We just couldn’t decide which, and used hops from all over the world; England, Slovenia, New Zeland, Check Republic, USA, Germany and Australia. A total of 13 different types of hops. It does not get better than this!

500ml bottle. Clear copper-ish dark amber colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Piney hop aroma, a dry zesty touch, some citrus fruity notes, hints of grass, caramel malty background. Taste is dry, slightly grassy hoppy, cautious and mild malty basis, hints of nut parings; dry, narrow finish.

Cloudy orange-to-brown colour with delicate small head but lots of lacing. Aroma is really awesome, there is zesty citrus fruits, sweet tropical fruits, some spices and sweet berries as well. Taste has sweet tropical fruits, pines, spices and citrus with notable bitter ending. Lots of flavors from hops, with medium body and nicely carbonated. Hops rule this pale ale.

Not convincing - thin bodied - malt dominant not enough hops - way over carbonated - I think Nogne suffered from too much indecision as taste is confused and two dimensional.

Nice, fruity, spicy and piney hops in the aroma and flavor. Backed up by a good malty backbone. Another timeless classic from Nøgne Ø. This beer is simply wonderful!

Sampled from bottle @ monthly De Molen tasting. Clear orange color, medium sized off - white head that leaves fair lacing. Aroma is lightly malty, very hoppy and fruity. Taste lightly malts, hops, fresh, bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Nice session ale.

Bottle at 2nd tuesday tasting @ De Molen, hosted by dEnk. Hazy orange pour, thin wwhite head. Aroma has loads of hops, citrus, grapefruit, some sweaty hops. Flavor is quite bitter, nicely hopped and well balanced. Solid brew for such a low abv. Nice.

Decent Nøgne Ø quality. My tongue can’t make much difference of the hops from different countries, hops are really fine anyway!

0.5L brown bottle, 4.5%, b@Eurospar Langnes Tromsø, brewed 14.oct.2013, #1049A. Off-white head diminishes on an hazy amber/orange body. Few lacings in my mug. Aroma with bitter, spruce, herbs, a bit citric over it all. Tastes bitter malts, a drop of orange juice, grains, dark bread in the back. Herbal spruce to palate, well bodied, but not overwhelming. Ends with malts and bitter in nice balanced combination. Overall a fresh hoppy hoppy ale.
