COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Using the same label, but "God Påske" of 2007 is a new and different beer.

Our seasonal Easter ale is light and hoppy, yet it has enough body to match the chill up in those mountains where Norwegians generally gather during Easter break.

Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F. Ingredients: Maris Otter, wheat, Munich and caramel malt; Northern Brewer , Crystal and Centenneal hops; English ale yeast, and our local Grimstad water.

14°P, 30 IBU, 6.0 ABV.

(Bottled) Very hazy darkish red-amber with a smallish, foamy and tanned, partly lasting head. Yeasty, fruity aroma of flowery hops and fermented strawberries. Sweet-sourish, very malty and smooth flavor with lots of aromatic-flowery hops, toffee, and berries. Pouring in the yeast doesn’t affect the flavor much. Medium to full-bodied, slicky and smooth palate with soft carbonation. Full, tasty and filling, but still very easy to drink, plus the ABV is not too high. A beautiful combination of Belgian, British and American influences.

I feel that this looks and tastes very similar to an English premium bitter. Little carbonation, no head. Lovely smell of hops, hoppy dry aroma, too. Full malty body, warming finish with the hops lingering for a long time. Another great beer from Nøgne ø!

Rating 500. Tobble from Alko, Finland. Shit! Why do some breweries try to accomplish something special when you instead could make a basic beer which is just very well made? This one is the last one.. actually it’s special as well. Roseberry colour, dark orange. Thick off-white head. Malty aroma, with some fruit and berries. Maybe some citrus. The taste is awesome! Strong distinctive malt and hops. Bitter and balanced. Thick and oily on the palate. Long and soothing finish. Niiiiice.

Copper color. Fruity, spicy, sweet caramel, yeast, hops - very balanced easter beer.

500 ml bottle, bottle conditioned. Orangey brown colour, moderate head. The first time I had it I found the aroma fairly moderate and slightly spicy with some fruit, the second time the lovely fruity hops came more in front. The pleasant flavour is nicely balanced: oak, fruit, spices, hoppy finish. Good beer!

courtesy of oh6gdx - cloudy dark reddish-amber colour, little white foam and a nice lace; subtle aroma of flowers, cream and raspberries; low carbonation and a very creamy mouthfeel, avery late but decent bitterness; finishes partially dry with subtle flowery tones - charming and very drinkable

(Bottle BB 26/02/10) Fruity (citrus), flowery and yeasty aroma. Dark red brown colour, hazy and small/average size, light brown, very slightly lasting head with fair lacing. Fruity, toffee and malty flavour. Softly carbonated and medium to full-bodied palate. Tasty brew! 28/03/07

Bottle. Pours a lovely orange red with a medium, fine creamy head. Aroma has a touch of hops, but quite a lot of caramel - reminds me of the original Salvator. Taste is sweet as well, but well balanced against a flowery hoppy background.

Bottle. Minor off-white head over a hazy light brown/orange body. Nice fruity-sweet and caramelish aroma. Notes of herbs and mild spices. Sweet-flavored; mainly malts and caramel. Balanced with a discreet hopbitterness and a fruity acidity. Healthy body. Nice bitter/acidulous finish. Yum!
